Brad Lips is the Chief Executive Officer of the Atlas Network, which works to strengthen the worldwide freedom movement. Brad joined Atlas in 1998, and served as its Chief Operating Officer for a decade before becoming CEO in 2009. Atlas Network now connects 470+ think tanks in 85 countries, and was recognized in the University of Pennsylvania's \'2013 Global Go To Think Tank Index Report\' as the top-ranked free-market organization in the \'Best Managed Think Tank\' category. Brad received his MBA from the Goizueta School of Business at Emory University, and his BA from Princeton University. Prior to joining the Atlas staff, Brad co-founded an Internet company (RateItAll.com) that went on to be acquired by DoubleDutch. As a Research Associate at Smith Barney Inc. from 1995-1997, he was recognized as part of an “All-American Research Team” according to Institutional Investor. Brad is a member of the Mont Pelerin Society and the John Templeton Foundation. He coauthored a book, The Reagan Vision, for Goldwater Institute in 2004, and has published in a variety of print and online outlets, including National Review Online, The Daily Caller, The American Spectator, FoxNews.com, RealClearPolitics, The American Thinker, and the Washington Examiner. Brad grew up in Northbrook, Illinois, and Weston, Connecticut, and now resides in Falls Church, Virginia.
