Long Term Care Staff Pharmacist (Full-Time)
We are seeking motivated and experienced Full Time Staff Pharmacists to join our team at AuBurn Pharmacy Long Term Care. As Staff Pharmacist, you will oversee daily pharmacy operations, provide clinical leadership, and ensure the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care to our long-term care residents. Our closed-door pharmacy, located in Olathe, KS, services local nursing homes, group homes and other similar facilities. With a commitment to quality care and personalized service, we are passionate about improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall healthcare experience. This is a very fast paced environment, requiring someone with high attention to detail and work ethic.
FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING AVAILABLE. 8-10 HOUR SHIFTS, 40-50 HOURS WEEKLY WITHIN THE HOURS OF 8AM-7PM OR 2PM-10PM. WITH ROTATING ON-CALL AND WEEKEND SHIFTS REQUIRED.
Ideal candidates should be dedicated to help lead our pharmacy into the future and be involved in the community. We focus on all aspects of a closed-door pharmacy including immunization clinics, assisted cycle fill, eMAR integration, sterile and non-sterile compounding and offer several types of packaging with two forms of automation. This position requires someone who is outgoing, assertive, great at multitasking, customer focused, and detail oriented with excellent management and supervisory skills. Experience in LTC and/or with FrameworkLTC or QS1 software preferred.

Basic Qualifications
BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance.

· Ensure proper billing occurs when pharmacist on duty in compliance with insurance plan, CMS, and/or board of pharmacy.
· Counsels patients to ensure that patients understand their treatment program and to ensure that treatment goals are being met. Meets face to face with patients, discusses disease state and treatment options. Answers questions to ensure patient understanding.
· Maintains current state pharmacy license.
· Maintains working knowledge of all aspects of the computer and cash register.
· Maintains store competitiveness and profitability by controlling operational expenses and maximizing sales.
· Maintains regular and punctual attendance. Develops courteous and professional relationships with patients, customers, and co-workers.
