Australian Islamic College company history timeline

1986

Our college community began in 1986.

Since 1986, this Islamic educational facility has focused on coupling excellent academic achievement with exceptional morals and values.

The school was established in 1986 by Abdallah Saad Magar as the Muslim Community School on Brisbane Street in Perth.

2000

In 2000 Kewdale was opened on the grounds of the former Kewdale Senior High School.

2002

The Australian International Islamic College (AIIC) began its journey back in 2002, with the opening of the Buranda Campus.

2005

In response to the rapid growth of enrolments, and therefore an expansion in staff, a new campus was established in 2005 at Durack.

2010

In January of 2010, the Australian International Islamic College expanded to the Gold Coast to help cater for the wider Islamic community.

2017

On 22 June 2017, the Adelaide campus was opened on the site of the former Islamic College of South Australia in the Adelaide suburb of West Croydon.
