About Us
Rafferty Subaru has proudly served the Delaware Valley since 1977 and continues to expand our service team. We are currently seeking one or two experienced, professional service technicians who are motivated to consistently produce 50-90 hours per week.
Our shop currently employs 17 main shop technicians, and even during the slower season, we are unable to complete all scheduled work. Our state-of-the-art, air-conditioned facility was renovated in 2018 and features 32 service bays.

Service Technician Responsibilities
Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Use of video MPI technology in accordance with Subaru requirements

Summary
Perform mobile service repairs including but are not limited to filter replacement, engine diagnostics, recalls, minor services at the customer's location.
Essential Duties
Communicate with dispatchers & customers clearly and providing excellent customer service.
Respond timely to mobile service location.
Troubleshooting and repairing all makes of vehicles on roadside and or worksite which include but is not limited to multi point inspections, filter replacement, recalls, and module reprogramming.
When not out on mobile service, assist with designated in-shop repairs as directed by supervisor.
Perform diagnostics, maintenance and recalls at customers facilities.
Communicate all work performed via legible writing on tags, work orders and/or invoices.
Perform all tasks in a safe and efficient manner. Use all provided safety equipment including seat belts, gloves, jack stands, wheel chocks, safety glasses, hi visibility clothing and cages.
Maintain safe driving record.
Operate mobile service vehicle.
Perform daily maintenance to vehicle, tools and equipment.
Maintain professional relationship with customers.
Other tasks as assigned.

Job Summary:
The Service Specialist/Advanced Specialist for PVA (Jiffy Lube) is a Lube Technician that performs the advanced maintenance services to ensure the safety of our customer's vehicles. The Service Specialist/Advanced Specialist may work in various positions to meet the individual needs of the customer; therefore, they are thoroughly cross trained in-house for all roles.
Job Description:
Provide impartial recommendations or options that are tailored specifically to guest's needs based on manufacturer recommendations and technicians' findings.
Work efficiently to service the customers in a timely fashion, prioritizing safety always.
Perform automotive maintenance of the engine, transmission, axles, steering and suspension, brakes, electrical, heating/air conditioning, tires, batteries, and spark plugs.
Perform preventative maintenance such as oil and filter change, refill fluid levels, inspecting and replacing lights, and replacing wiper blades.
Participate in regular on-site and e-learning training, and maintain compliance with Jiffy Lube safety requirements, OSHA, and state regulations.
Participate in marketing events and promotions.
Keep customer, inventory, and service records and perform inventory stocking.
Perform housekeeping/minor building maintenance.
Promote customer loyalty by ensuring completion of quality workmanship, reviewing services completed with guest, confirming guest satisfaction, and encouraging return at recommended intervals.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of automotive service experience.
Valid Driver's License.
