The Service Director/Manager is the leader of the Service department within an AutoNation store. The Autonomous Vehicle Technician diagnoses and performs maintenance and repairs on vehicles operated by the Waymo Driver. This specialist will have a unique opportunity to provide high quality service on autonomous vehicles, while working with teammates in a positive atmosphere and growth environment. Responsibilities: * Performing maintenance, diagnosis, and required repairs on electric vehicles. * Inspecting and performing initial vehicle set up for autonomous fleet operation and testing. * Collaborating with and working alongside AutoNation and Waymo associates, and partnering with teammates to improve processes and expedite workflow. * Document requested repairs and findings in a specialized service platform. * Performing high quality repairs and inspections efficiently and accurately. * Conducting multi-point inspections and system checks, making appropriate recommendations to ensure the safety and reliability of fleet vehicles. * Provide guidance to technician team, and effectively communicate with Associates regarding required service and parts needs. * Performing all repairs according to work instructions and documenting results. * Operating all equipment in the Service Center in a safe and productive manner, following AutoNation's Safety Standards for the use of personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection) while working on the production floor. * Inspecting and testing all work performed as a Quality Control (QC) measure as soon as jobs are completed. * Maintaining an inventory of Technician's tools not normally inventoried by the Service Department. * Keeping abreast of technical information and participating in offered training classes as appropriate. * Understanding and following federal, state, and local regulations that affect Service Center operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA guidelines, etc. * Gaining superior product knowledge to provide high quality repairs. Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent. * Three + years' automotive experience * Electric Vehicle experience, a plus * Hybrid or EV training and experience a plus * Automotive technical training * ASE Certifications, preferred * Have tools * Must have a valid, in-state driver's license with an acceptable, safe driving record. * Ability to operate an automobile. The Finance Manager ensure that the dealership meets its unit sales quotas and its gross objectives on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis. They are also responsible for producing additional revenue for the dealership by selling finance and insurance products to customers. Duties and Responsibilities: * Make a monthly projection of the vehicle requirements by department for the immediate 90-day sales period * Determine monthly and yearly forecasts in terms of unit sales, gross profit objectives, and departmental profits * Sell financing and other finance and insurance products to customers * Sell Extended Warranties and all other aftermarket item * Establish and maintain good working relationships with several finance sources, factory and otherwise * Submit paperwork to and obtain approval from finance sources on all finance deals * Meet with each salesperson as early as possible every day to review yesterday's results and today's plan of action * Conduct sales meetings and facilitate pre-delivery with the Service Manager * Handle all rate quotations * Check all paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes, etc. * The F&I Manager has a responsibility to log in sales income. * Verify insurance with customers agents, obtain deposits, verify trade payoff.

The Service Porter is responsible for performing a variety of duties as it relate to the maintenance and service of vehicles. What are the day-to-day responsibilities? * Assist with service write-ups and tagging of customer cars and trucks * Remove vehicle protective coverings and ID tags prior to returning completed vehicle to customer * Inspect vehicles for stains, debris and damages before returning the vehicle to the customer, and report any damage immediately * Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed * Perform deliveries as required * Clean interior and exterior of new and used vehicles * Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards * Return vehicle keys to the appropriate service consultant * Pick up vehicles from and deliver vehicles to storage * Pick up parts from the Parts Department * Test batteries of customer vehicles in service drive * Maintains building and ground as needed * Assist with shop clean-up and deliveries when needed What are the requirements for this job? * High School Diploma or equivalent * 6-12 months of previous work experience (preferred) * Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information * Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to handle machinery safely * Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles * Demonstrated customer service skills * Must have a valid drivers license * Ability to operate an automobile This position pays $19/hr.
