About the Role:
The Director, Technical Revenue and Assurance plays a key role on Confluent's Revenue Accounting leadership team. In this role, you will serve as one of the finance organization's subject matter experts on ASC 606, own the revenue policy framework and drive technical revenue conclusions. Own the revenue policy framework and technical positions, author and maintain authoritative policies, memos, and contract conclusions on complex revenue arrangements; set clear interpretations that balance compliance, risk, and scalability.
Structure and influence complex revenue deals in partnership with Sales, Deal Desk, and FP&A to achieve optimal revenue outcomes and speed-to-close; serve as an escalation point for complex arrangements (SaaS, on‑prem/term licenses, consumption, multi‑element bundles, modifications/renewals, variable consideration, etc.).
Build, motivate, and grow a high‑performing team, continuing to develop technical acumen and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement; coach, hire, and develop talent.

We are currently seeking a Client Delivery Executive to join our team in Bay Area, CA, California (US-CA), United States (US).
Position Overview
As a Client Delivery Executive II at NTT DATA, you will lead cross‑functional delivery with a focus on client transformation, delivery excellence, profitable growth, cost reductions, and building high‑performance teams. This role demands exceptional leadership, deep HiTech industry experience, a change agent mentality, and a proven track record in delivering complex digital IT solutions.

Responsibilities
Operations:
Accountable for end‑to‑end delivery of NTT DATA services for a specific client.
Ensure adherence to contractual commitments.
Monitor delivery quality and client satisfaction through direct interactions with key stakeholders.
Develop and maintain Crisis Management/Disaster Plans.
Implement project mitigation plans for yellow or red deliverables.
Conduct Customer Governance meetings.
Manage Outage/Escalation/Missed SLA incidents.
Implement and execute automation and efficiency programs.
Drive client improvement plans to enhance satisfaction.
Utilize automation for repetitive tasks to boost performance and service quality.
Possess a deep understanding of the delivery life cycle.
Ensure accurate and timely revenue/cost/margin forecasts for assigned accounts.
Manage costs in alignment with annual operating plans and point of sale.
Develop action plans to close forecast gaps.
Manage account ramp‑up/ramp‑down resources efficiently.
Collaborate with Client Executive to develop customer relationships, grow and expand the services footprint from NTT for the client, and manage risks.
Excel in customer relationship management at CXO levels, presenting operations and strategic reviews to senior stakeholders.
Act as a strategic delivery advisor to the executive leadership team.
Manage Sales Enablement, ensuring integration with delivery teams.
Leverage broader NTT DATA capabilities and resources strategically.
Interface with customer architecture teams and senior leadership on emerging technologies.
Governance:
Serve as the main contact for client operations leadership.
Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
Stay informed about global industry trends and their impact on IT services.
Organization:
Apply best practices in organizational change management.
Solve large, enterprise problems through matrixed organizations.
Guide delivery leaders to align service offerings properly.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of direct reports, providing feedback through coaching and the NTT DATA performance management process.
Coach and mentor a large team of delivery leaders responsible for daily client operations.
Qualifications
Advanced degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Cybersecurity.
5+ years of experience working in the HiTech Industry with HiTech customers.
8+ years of experience in transitioning and managing Application, Public/Private Cloud, Infrastructure, Security, Workspace and Consulting services.
8+ years of experience managing a highly leveraged service environment.
Digital Transformation experience leveraging AI to refine knowledge insights.
Strong knowledge of and experience with ITIL Service Framework v4.
Experience in IT support and production escalations, including incident response and change lifecycles.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work across multiple time zones.
Extensive experience with ServiceNow.

Position Duties and Responsibilities
Strategic Vision & Executive Alignment: Develop and articulate a clear, forward‑thinking enablement strategy that directly supports Validity's aggressive revenue goals. Partner closely with C‑suite and GTM leadership to ensure alignment and secure buy‑in for key initiatives.
Departmental Leadership & Management: Lead the enablement function, including planning, resourcing, budget management, and overall departmental operations. Serve as the "manager of the function," establishing best practices and operational excellence.
Enablement Roadmap Delivery: Design, prioritize, and execute a comprehensive enablement roadmap covering onboarding, ongoing training, product launches, skills development, and technology adoption. Ensure initiatives are delivered on time and drive intended outcomes.
Team Hiring & Development: Build, mentor, and grow a high‑performing enablement team. Identify skill gaps and implement development plans to ensure team members are equipped to deliver world‑class enablement programs.
Stakeholder & Internal Communications: Act as the primary liaison between enablement and cross‑functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success). Manage internal communications to ensure all stakeholders are aware of enablement programs, initiatives, and results.
Needs Identification: Proactively identify knowledge, skill, and process gaps across revenue teams through data analysis, field observation, and feedback loops, translating these needs into actionable enablement priorities.
Project Management of Large‑Scale Initiatives: Lead the planning and execution of large‑scale, complex projects such as new market entries, sales methodology rollouts, and significant tech stack changes.
Performance Analytics & ROI: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for Validity's sales enablement success. Analyze data at the individual, team, initiative, and functional levels to measure program effectiveness, demonstrate ROI, and inform future strategies.
Required Experience, Skills, and Education
A minimum of 11 years of experience in directly related SaaS Sales Enablement, SaaS Revenue Operations, and/or related Sales/Sales Enablement, Marketing or Revenue roles within a B2B SaaS environment.
Proven leadership experience managing a team/function.
Strong executive presence and demonstrated success aligning C‑level stakeholders.
Expertise in SaaS sales, sales enablement and revenue enablement best practices, sales methodologies, and modern learning technologies.
Highly analytical with the ability to use data to drive decisions and measure impact.
Exceptional project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
History of building high performing teams.
Strong command of sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC or MEDDIC; experience building methodology adoption across distributed teams.
Deep experience working within structured sales systems.
Based in the Boston area with the ability to work a hybrid office schedule (minimum three days per week in our Boston office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and travel up to 10%.
Base salary range $150,000 - $175,000 plus benefits, bonus opportunities and stock options. Final salary may vary depending on skills, and/or experience.
