BAE Systems is looking for an Intern with experience using data visualization tools that has an interest in the business lifecycle, customer relationship management (CRM), and operations optimization through data analysis, data modeling, and data management. The qualified candidate will have the opportunity to assist in the design and development of these capabilities and opportunity identification to help support all phases of the business lifecycle.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Identifying, quantifying, capturing and/or modeling new business opportunities
* Gathering, analyzing, and evaluating information collected on internal operations, customers, competitors and other market factors that can contribute to a business's competitive advantage and its operations
* Advancing and implementing new tools to support various functions (customer account management, winning business, repair center optimization, etc)
* Refining how we utilize data (capture, cleaning, organization, and modeling)

* Currently enrolled in, or recently a post grad (with good academic standing) for a Bachelor or Master degree in Analytics, Business, Mathematics (or other related fields), or a degree with an Analytics or Business minor/concentration
* Experience using data visualization software such as PowerBI, Tableau or Looker, data preparation and cleaning tools such as Alterx or Tableau Prep, SQL, MS Office suite of programs (MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

* Experience using Python
* Comfortable with complex data relationships (ERD)
* Knowledge/Experience with machine learning, time series analysis, and deep learning frameworks

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $39861 - $53766
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

* Preparation and analysis of monthly program data driven metrics utilizing DCMA DECM metric templates and Deltek Acumen Fuse application
* Communicate with program personnel for metric audit source data, supporting documentation, and explanations of metric results; assess, verify and document program feedback
* Interface with centralized DCMA earned value leads to coordinate Joint Surveillance reviews, and communicate data call requirements to programs
* Work with the Program Excellence (PE) organization to support the creation of and execution of training requirements to include Control Account Manager training, Earned Value Certification, program startup, integrated baseline review training, Earned Value Tools training, and ad-hoc training requests as necessary.
