About the job
This position supports the GTM Solutions Sales team. As a Solution Acceleration Architect, you will accelerate adoption of new solutions and platform capabilities with our top global customers. You will run build workshops, develop early‑adoption playbooks, and support customers from demo to POC to MVP in a production environment. You will collaborate closely with Enterprise Architects, Demo Platform Engineering, Professional Services, and SI Partner teams to define adoption blueprints ahead of launch and graduation of new solutions.
You will lead the “build‑with” programs for Global Direct accounts, including activation events, build hackathons, and workshops that drive builder activation, adoption, and value realization of our new solutions and capabilities.
Responsibilities
Drive B2B builder activation events and hackathons at flagship or target Direct accounts to accelerate adoption of new solutions.
Define and refine the adoption blueprint by partnering closely with Enterprise Architects, Demo Platform Engineering, Professional Services, and SI Partners on demos, repos, starter apps, sample code, and companion technical guides that capture the mindshare of builders within target accounts and the broader B2B builder community.
Drive adoption of the next‑best solution and platform capabilities for customers.
Evangelize Twilio within the B2B builder communities of the target accounts by building new POCs and demos that bring to life architectures discussed at the C‑suite and line‑of‑business levels in the sales cycles.
Accelerate customer adoption in paid pilots for new platform capabilities and/or POCs for new solutions at launch.
Utilize your software engineering expertise to ensure customers' builder teams develop a full understanding of the platform capabilities of the solutions being pitched or sold.
Work closely with Demo Platform Engineering and Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure C‑suite positioning and higher‑level reference architectures are properly activated within the builder communities of the target accounts.
Qualifications

Demonstrated experience running end‑to‑end technical program management, working closely with GTM.

Strong communication skills and executive presence, whether in board rooms with C‑level stakeholders, customer meetings, or internal meetings with cross‑functional stakeholders.
Ability to have strong opinions, remain flexible, and thrive in ambiguous environments.
Strong understanding of Twilio's products and services, and the broader market dynamics of SaaS, specifically in cloud computing, Gen AI, CRM, CDP, and/or CPaaS.
Ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders and work collaboratively.
Creative thinking and problem‑solving skills, with a track record of thinking outside the box and delivering on “wow.”
Prior technical presales and/or solution engineering experience strongly preferred.
Master's degree is a plus but not required.
Location
This role will be remote and based in the United States.
We anticipate approximately 10% travel to connect in person in meaningful ways.

This role is open to candidates outside of specific restricted states. Compensation ranges vary by location:
Colorado, Hawaii, Minnesota or Vermont: $138,700 - $173,400
Washington D.C., Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts or California (outside SF Bay Area): $146,800 - $183,600
New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or the San Francisco Bay Area, California: $163,100 - $203,900
Equity and benefits include health insurance, 401(k), paid sick time, paid personal time off, and paid parental leave.

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in Accounting, Finance, Procurement, Legal and other stakeholders to understand requirements and align on solutions.
Manage and support projects ranging in complexity and scale - highly cross-functional and spanning multiple months to focused “quality of life” enhancements.
Compile business requirement documents and UAT scripts using stakeholder input and coordinating testing cycles.
Design and implement scalable system configuration changes that streamline processes.
Establish best practices and documentation to ensure knowledge transfer and system sustainability.
Mentor a senior analyst on the team without direct people management.
About You
8+ years of experience in Finance Transformation or Financial Systems roles.
Strong expertise with ERP (NetSuite preferred) and financial systems supporting order-to-cash (O2C), procure-to-pay (P2P), and record-to-report (R2R) processes.
Robust project management experience and have led at least 2 major system implementations and / or migrations.
Deep knowledge spanning multiple Finance domains: GL concepts (journal entries, GL segmentation, eliminations, etc.), billing customers, paying vendors, budgeting processes, etc.
Demonstrated ability to design scalable processes and implement systems solutions that meet cross-functional business needs.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and a balance of strategic vision and executional detail.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience engaging stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
Prior experience mentoring team members.
Comfortable operating with a high level of autonomy in a dynamic, primarily async environment.

The IT Leadership Team is responsible for driving the strategic direction, operational excellence, and continuous improvement of Klaviyo's global technology environment. This team aligns IT initiatives with business priorities, ensuring that systems, services, and security practices scale effectively with company growth. Members of the IT Leadership Team collaborate across departments to enhance infrastructure reliability, modernize processes through automation, and strengthen enterprise security and compliance. The group works closely with partners across Engineering, Security, Risk and Trust, and other business units to deliver a seamless, secure, and innovative employee technology experience worldwide.
About the role:
As a Senior Lead Internal AI Architect on the IT Leadership Team, you will define and execute the strategy for embedding artificial intelligence into Klaviyo's internal operations, infrastructure, and workforce experience. You will serve as the principal architect and strategist for designing secure, scalable, and efficient AI‑driven systems that transform how IT delivers value to the business. Your scope will include everything from integrating AI into infrastructure and automation frameworks to building internal AI platforms for experimentation and enablement. You'll collaborate closely with IT, Security, Risk and Trust, and Engineering to modernize the company's technology foundation and enable an “AI‑native” workforce.
You will also act as a key influencer across the organization, shaping standards for AI adoption, driving responsible innovation, and mentoring teams as Klaviyo evolves its internal architecture toward intelligent, automated, and resilient systems.
How you'll have an impact
Modernize Klaviyo's IT foundation by identifying opportunities to embed AI across systems from observability and automation to identity and access frameworks and by implementing AIOps practices that increase reliability and performance.
Build the foundation for an AI‑native workforce by partnering with internal teams to safely deploy AI tools such as copilots, workflow automation, and intelligent chat interfaces that enhance employee productivity.
Design and govern internal AI platforms, including model access layers, sandbox environments, and experimentation frameworks for secure, compliant use of generative AI.
Establish architectural standards for AI integration across enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, HRIS, collaboration tools) while ensuring compliance, cost optimization, and alignment with business objectives.
Define the AI adoption roadmap for IT and internal operations, creating frameworks for AI maturity, capability development, and operational readiness.
Coach and evangelize AI literacy across technical and non‑technical teams, helping stakeholders identify “AI‑ready” opportunities and fostering a culture of experimentation, safety, and scalability.
Partner across departments - including Security, Engineering, and Data - to ensure AI‑enabled systems meet organizational and regulatory requirements.
Establish feedback loops and continuous improvement processes to measure AI impact and refine strategies for sustainability, performance, and business alignment.
Requirements AI and Systems Architecture Leadership
10+ years leading cross‑functional technology transformations or systems architecture teams with a focus on AI, automation, or infrastructure modernization.
Demonstrated success embedding AI into enterprise IT or SaaS environments, improving system reliability, scalability, and observability through AI and automation frameworks (AIOps, MLOps).
Strategic AI Enablement and Governance
Proven ability to define and implement standards for AI access, usage, and observability, including model governance, data lineage, and compliance monitoring.
Experience designing internal AI platforms, APIs, and integration frameworks that connect AI systems to core business platforms.
Skilled in creating policies and controls for safe, ethical, and cost‑optimized AI usage across distributed teams.
Technical Expertise
Strong foundation in IT infrastructure, cloud architecture (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and data systems.
Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts, generative AI frameworks, and API integration design.
Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as Okta, Freshservice, Salesforce, or Workday, and how AI can augment these systems.
Experience with automation and orchestration tools (DevOps, AIOps, or workflow automation platforms).
Leadership and Change Management
Track record of driving organizational change through technology transformation, including establishing frameworks for intake, prioritization, and execution of AI initiatives.
Experience mentoring engineers and technical leads, fostering growth and accountability through feedback and continuous learning.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical depth and executive alignment.
Nice to have
Advanced experience with AI platform operations, MLOps pipelines, or internal AI development tooling.
Background in systems design or DevOps engineering with exposure to AI or automation integration at scale.
Familiarity with enterprise security and compliance frameworks related to AI model governance and data protection.
Prior experience leading internal “AI Center of Excellence” or equivalent transformation programs.
