Provide a safe and clean living facility. For all locations as needed - Emergency after hours work as needed - Shift/schedule may change as needed. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Clean and disinfects restrooms, dormitories and common areas daily Maintain all floors by stripping, polishing and waxing periodically. Clean all carpets in the facility Painting and repairing around the facility Report needed repairs to supervisor Distribute housekeeping supplies and proper dilutions of supplies. Supervise the proper disposal of garbage QUALIFICATIONS: * Minimum of one (1) year experience in general maintenance and/or housekeeping. * G.E.D or High School Diploma or equivalent experience. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of computer, Outlook, MS Word, Excel preferred, and paper work as needed. Excellent conflict resolution skills. Excellent customer service skills. Experience working with vulnerable populations. Ability to be professional, flexible, respectful, and calm. Ability to work well with others. Ability to lead by example. Must have a Florida State Driver's License with "safe driver" classification. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Computer Literate. We are seeking to hire a Housekeeper / Laundry Aide. $16 per hour to start. Full or Part-Time schedules available. Housekeeper Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in Housekeeping in long-term care is preferred. Housekeeper Job Summary: Perform cleaning procedures in accordance with facility procedures and policies. Observe waste disposal procedures in accordance with facility policy. Assist in the proper care and use of housekeeping equipment. Identify and report any equipment malfunctions. Distributs soap, paper and other housekeeping supplies. Assist with laundry duties. Transport soiled laundry from resident units to main laundry.
