We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic NursePractitioner (NP) to join our inpatient team. The successful candidate will manage the comprehensive care of post-operative orthopedic patients from their initial recovery phase to final discharge coordination. This role involves performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests to monitor recovery and identify complications, and collaborating closely with our orthopedic surgeons to formulate and execute effective, patient-centered treatment and rehabilitation plans. The NP will focus on wound care, early mobilization, and patient and family education to ensure a smooth transition of care and prevent readmissions in our fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital offers highly specialized surgical and medical services in an intimate environment and is known for outstanding patient care. Primary Functions:

**We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic NursePractitioner (NP) to join our inpatient team. The successful candidate will manage the comprehensive care of post-operative orthopedic patients from their initial recovery phase to final discharge coordination.** This role involves performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests to monitor recovery and identify complications, and collaborating closely with our orthopedic surgeons to formulate and execute effective, patient-centered treatment and rehabilitation plans. The NP will focus on wound care, early mobilization, and patient and family education to ensure a smooth transition of care and prevent readmissions in our fast-paced, high-volume environment.
