Black & Veatch helps clients with startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and training of their operations staff to be able to effectively operate the new and upgraded facilities.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Provide startup, commissioning and troubleshooting services for:
+ conventional wastewater treatment, advanced wastewater treatment, and biosolids
+ groundwater systems that chlorinate and/or chloraminate with hydrogen sulfide removal/softening systems, conventional surface water treatment, and advanced disinfection/filtration systems

+ Evaluate staffing, operating costs, and system redundancy for reliable operations.

**Preferred Qualifications**
+ At least 10 years' experience in:
+ wastewater operations or commissioning of wastewater plants

+ Plant startup and commissioning experience a must.
+ Technical writing skills and basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PDF, Microsoft Visio)are a must.

**Minimum Qualifications**

As an Water and Wastewater Facility Operations Specialist, you would function as a technical specialist, assisting in startup and commissioning of water and wastewater facilities. With some direction, you will develop and apply fundamental process engineering techniques, concepts, and approaches to develop commissioning and O&M documentation and work with the facilities' operations staff.

**Key Responsibilities**
+ Review contractor startup documents.

Lead due diligence, subpoenas, and other various document production projects.
Draft, file and manage various corporate resolutions as well as business entity documents for various corporate entities corporations.

Assist House Counsel/Risk Manager and Corporate Claims Manager with the management of various legal matters, disputes, litigation, and strategic projects as requested.

Summary

Requirements
The Craft Acquisition Specialist will possess the knowledge, skill, and/or ability in the following areas essential to perform the functions of the position.
* Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of construction recruitment experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Hands on concrete construction formwork experience preferred
* Ability to present information in written and oral form to all levels of co-workers within the Company
* Ability to read and comprehend procedures, regulations, and laws
* Ability to adapt presentation style to the applicable audience
* Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Must be fluent in English and Spanish, with the ability to effectively communicate, read, and write in both language
* Ability to calculate simple math such as addition, subtraction, division, percentages & ratios.
* Strong proficiency with Microsoft software programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

**Summary**
The **Craft Acquisition Specialist** is responsible for sourcing, screening, and recruiting skilled craftworkers for various construction projects. S/he collaborates with hiring managers and business unit leaders to understand their staffing needs and create recruitment strategies and networking pipelines to attract qualified craft workers such as laborers, carpenters, finishers, operators, etc. The Craft Acquisition Specialist is responsible for conducting interviews, assessing candidates' technical skills and experience, and coordinating onboarding processes for new hires. S/he also performs administrative functions related to recruiting.
**Roles and Responsibilities**
