Preschool Learning Academy of York (PLAY) in York, NE, is looking for an energetic, nurturing person who desires to contribute to an excellent environment of education through play, while helping to shape the future of our preschoolers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Utilize integrated curriculum plans, which reflect developmentally appropriate practice, parental and cultural influences, promote the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of enrolled children, and support the programs school readiness goals.
Assist the teacher to collect and enter child assessment data.
Support an atmosphere that promotes and provides opportunities for parent engagement and community partnerships.
Model sensitivity, build and foster relationships.
Communicate effectively and professionally.
Ensure the operation and maintenance of a safe, clean, healthy and productive work environment.
Maintain professional competence through professional growth and development opportunities.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in a timely manner.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Proof of high school diploma or GED
Must possess or be willing to obtain a Child Development Associate certification or certification/degree as described in the current BVCA Children Services condition of employment.

QUALIFICATIONS
Posses or be willing to obtain a Child Development Associate credential or higher education degree in Early Childhood Education
