Job Summary

Content creation responsibilities include but are not limited to the design and development of instructor guides, syllabi, and learning objectives documents. Create and maintain instructional materials such as facilitator/participant guides, job aids, and other learning resources.
Design and development of engaging training materials for a variety of delivery methods, such as instructor-led, computer-based training modules and storyboards.
Reviews and interprets Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), Company policies, Collective Bargaining Agreement(s) (CBA) and applies guidance and insight on the instructionaldesign as it pertains to AQP.
This role will analyze multiple sources of data to determine training program effectiveness and efficiency and summarize results in formal reports. Establish and maintain formal and informal Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track effectiveness of training programs and initiatives via qualitative and quantitative data.
Administrative responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining formal documentation of government and corporate programs, an electronic Program Audit Data Base (PADB), and a training recording/certification system.
Serve as a SME on adult learning theory, instructional methods, and compliance requirements to produce analysis reports, design documents, curriculum outlines, instructor courseware and regulatory documentation.
Exercise expert understanding of complex technical training programs to work with a wide range of stakeholders at all leadership levels to ensure that pilot training programs are effective, efficient, compliant, and aligned with corporate safety and operational objectives, FARs and the CBA. This role will regularly contribute to the development of new training concepts, techniques, and standards by using ISD methodologies.
Operating in a highly regulated environment, this role routinely supports internal and external audits, understanding Pilot Audit Data Base (PADB), and a training recording/certification system to identify skills gaps and training needs.
Develop and convert draft/content from SMEs into effective learning objects; responsibilities include elements of all phases of the Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate (ADDIE) model.
Ensure timely transmission of data or content as described in the implementation plan. Practice safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
Maintains working knowledge of CRM/TEM including FAA regulations, Advisory Circulars, ICAO, and other international standards.

The Coastal Maritime High-Risk Training Instructor provides the Maritime Expeditionary Security Group TWO Training and Evaluation Unit (TEU) specialized Maritime Expeditionary Security Force skills to execute day and night high-risk training for their companies, platoons, patrol boat crews, and other special purpose maritime security teams. The instructor's expertise facilitates coastal maritime operations, high value unit protection, ground and underway combat shooting techniques, tactical vehicle and convey operations, and unmanned aircraft systems operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide classroom and practical individual skills training and boat team training for multiple boat crews conducting patrolling, port-harbor security defense, and high-value unit/asset tactics, techniques, and procedures in a dynamic maritime environment. The instruction will include dynamic, live-fire crew-served weapons training events in both day and night operations.
Perform and observe the safe operations of weapons systems, patrol boats, and associated technical equipment.
Perform cleaning, maintenance, and repairs of weapon systems.
Perform course preparation and maintenance of curricula.
Qualifications
Graduate of a certified Navy Instructor Training Course with Navy Enlisted Classification codes 9502, 9501, or 9518 with at least one year of documented instructional experience. Main responsibilities:
Design and Develop Learning Solutions: Create high-quality learning interventions including instructor-led training (ILT), virtual instructor-led training (vILT), and eLearning modules.

Qualifications

Bachelor's required; master's preferred, or equivalent experience in instructionaldesign, safety, or training.
Experience with eLearning development tools, particularly Articulate Storyline 360 (Rise and other Articulate 360 tools preferred), Canva, Camtasia and Vyond.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

What Will You Be Doing?
The InstructionalDesigner, Inflight role is responsible for the creation of Inflight Services training curriculum development, utilizing adult learning theory principles and progressive instructionaldesign methodologies. The InstructionalDesigner/Content Developer contractor is responsible for the design and development of digital training courses using Articulate Storyline 360 and Articulate Studio 360. The contractor will also have a working knowledge of TechSmith SnagIt and Adobe Captivate.
The contractor may also provide support in creating other training materials, including, but not limited to, job aids, videos, etc.
Job Responsibilities:
The NexGen InstructionalDesigner/Content Developer will be responsible for the design and development of digital training courses using Articulate Storyline 360 and Articulate Studio 360. The InstructionalDesigner creates effective online courses, is familiar with instructionaldesign technology ancillary tools such as graphics, video and sound editors, and models effective instructionaldesign and content development practices.
This contractor position requires an individual to support the DOAS/SPD Training and Development team, operate with a high level of independence, and have strong project management, communication and collaboration skills, and a passion for creating innovative learning and educational solutions.
The ideal candidate must be a strategic thinker who is technology savvy, results driven, innovative and personable.
Essential Job Duties:
· Follows guidance and direction from SPD's InstructionalDesigner.
· Works collaboratively with training staff, subject-matter experts, and other staff members to design, develop, and evaluate effective digital courses using Articulate Storyline 360 Articulate Studio 360.
· Provides instructionaldesign support, recommending appropriate tools and course design structure.
· Performs screencasts, edits video recordings, and finds appropriate audio files to incorporate in digital courses as well as identifies and edits graphics for use in instructional materials.
· Manages and completes projects within a specified timeline while prioritizing and working on multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent time management skills are required.
· Incorporates new methods of learning, instructional techniques, and instructional technologies, including emerging technologies in creative and collaborative ways.
· Capable of publishing digital courses to the web or a Learning Management System (LMS)applying necessary settings to the course to share required information with LMS.
· Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint

What Will You Be Doing?
The InstructionalDesigner, Inflight role is responsible for the creation of Inflight Services training curriculum development, utilizing adult learning theory principles and progressive instructionaldesign methodologies. In addition, the role will be responsible for conducting training needs assessments, engaging various stakeholder groups to validate curriculum content and measuring the effectiveness of Inflight Services training programs.
Essential Functions:
* Develops Inflight Services training programs, including regulatory and non-regulatory program content and record-keeping/administration of the Inflight Services Learning Management System (LMS)
* Oversees preparation and presentation of training programs, learner satisfaction surveys and on-line/web-based (distance learning) courses
* Conducts training needs assessments and formulates recommendations of learning solutions
* Develops and maintains Inflight Services approved training manuals, training materials, course outlines, lesson plans, training aids, tests, publications and other course related material according to department standards
* Evaluates program/course quality and effectiveness and recommends changes as required
* Communicates (orally and in writing) with other training, support and operational departments to ensure consistency and accuracy of material/content
* Continuously evaluates program/course quality and effectiveness through learner satisfaction data and recommends changes as required
* Develops, maintains and monitors program facilitation, quality assurance program and Instructor/Facilitator Guidebook for Inflight Services Training Instructors
* Develops and oversees training video production and release
* Point of contact/designated training liaison with government agencies (FAA and TSA) for program content and approvals
* Mentors and develops Inflight Services Training Instructors (permanent, line, and special assignment flight attendants)
* Ensures Inflight Services training standards are met, in accordance with Approved Training Manual
* Oversees Inflight Services Training projects to ensure objectives and milestones are achieved, through the development of project timelines, goals and stakeholders
* Works with other department leaders to identify business challenges and create learning solutions to address challenges and performance gaps
* Achieve and maintain qualification as a Frontier Airlines Flight Attendant.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Adult Education and/or InstructionalDesign, or equivalent education and experience required; Master's degree preferred
* 3 to 5 years of experience in teaching, training or adult learning and curriculum development required
* Prior airline and/or Inflight Services program development experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Ability to effectively manage multiple, concurrent projects and priorities
* Ability to demonstrate superior instructional, facilitation and presentation skills to large groups
* Proven ability in the evaluation, creation, design and implementation of curriculum and supporting materials
* Knowledge of conducting training needs assessment for different client groups
* Ability to demonstrate strong oral presentation and written communication skills
* Computer competency in work processing, Excel database software, graphics, desktop publishing and PowerPoint
* Project management abilities including production and strong organizational skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality with regard to all sensitive information
* Ability to work closely with the instructor group utilizing collaboration
