The Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced and Lead Level Customer Technical Training Specialist to support the Training Team in Seattle, WA.
The primary focus of this role is to develop, conduct and evaluate the effectiveness of technical training. This focus requires the analyses of customer technical training needs to determine appropriate training content, objectives, and design. Additional duties of the role include research, courseware updates, and the development of new media in support of customer training.
This is an on-site Seattle position and is primarily a 1st shift position but occasional adjustments to support classes, meeting, workshops, etc. are occasionally required, as is travel both domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time.
Position Responsibilities:
Independently conducts customer training in broad subject areas using the approved medium to satisfy customer training requirements.
Conducts analyses to evaluate customer technical training needs to determine appropriate training content, objectives, and design.
Develops, conducts, and evaluates effectiveness of technical training. Uses specialized software to research, configure, maintain, update, and develop new and existing media and materials.
Travels for work up to 25% of the time.
Ability to adjust shift. This position is primarily a 1st shift position but occasional
adjustments to support classes, meeting, workshops, etc.
Works under general supervision.
May be asked to support other programs or perform other duties as needed.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Experience interpreting commercial technical data including drawings, maintenance, and operations manuals.
Experience conducting technical training and/or performing instructional system development.
5+ years' experience in aircraft maintenance and modification (This is time you were the technician physically working on the airplane with tools in hand).
Capable of traveling 25% of the time both domestically and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years' of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.).
Licensed Aircraft Mechanic.
Associate's degree or higher.
2+ years' experience conducting technical training and/or performing instructional system development.
Experience maintaining large complex commercial aircraft and have provided instruction on the same.

Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking multiple Machinist Assemblers Precision to join our Machinist departments in either Seattle, WA or Tukwila, WA.
Machinists in this position participate in the design, fabrication and assembly of various production and research projects. Using a variety of precision machines (e.g., lathes, grinders, EDM, CNC and milling machines) to support aircraft engineering and production groups.
Position Responsibilities:
Perform bench work (e.g., drilling, honing, tapping, reaming) on production and experimental parts, as required
Assemble parts using rivets and bolts with correct tools such as rivet squeeze, lock bolt puller, rivet gun and bucking bar, power screwdriver, or ratchet per engineering requirements

**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ Provide process and product technical leadership for the Castings commodity, including SX or equiax investment castings.
+ Develop strong working relationships with casting supplier technical teams.
+ Partner with suppliers to identify and implement corrective actions to eliminate the cause and prevent recurrence.
+ Act as a change agent to advance world-class performance and standard work across the supply base.
+ Own supplier technical relationships; mentor suppliers on GE Aerospace processes, specifications, and methods; ensure compliance and capability.
+ Lead cross-functional problem solving, to identify true root cause and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
+ Improve manufacturability through design-for-casting, specification clarity, and process capability improvements.
+ Clearly communicate progress, risks, challenges, and countermeasures to leadership and stakeholders.
+ Review and approve significant/special processes; ensure adherence to standards and qualification requirements.
+ Collaborate with Quality and Design Engineering to ensure new and changed processes meet established metrics; align with other commodities on strategy and objectives

**Minimum Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Materials/Metallurgy, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field)
+ Minimum of 5 years of materials engineering, castings, mechanical engineering or a related field
**Desired Characteristics and Experience**
+ Additive manufacturing experience.
+ Metal Injection Molding (MIM) experience.
+ Proficiency with Siemens NX or comparable CAD.
+ Sand Castings Experience.
+ Titanium Experience.
+ Significant experience in investment castings (SX or equiax), with demonstrated yield, capability, and cost improvements
+ Hands-on expertise across investment casting special processes (wax, shell, melt/solidification control, heat treat, HIP, NDT) and specification compliance.

**Pay and Benefits:**
+ The salary range for this position is $ 116,000.00 - 155,000.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
