    Apply Description PURPOSE/FUNCTION OF PROGRAM: The IICAPS program provides clinical services to children and adolescents with psychiatric diagnosis who are at risk of hospitalization or are returning home from hospitalization. The IICAPS Clinician provides services to families in their homes and out in the community. The clinician must work a flexible schedule, including afternoon, evening, or weekend hours in order to reduce barriers to treatment and accommodate the family's schedule. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform evaluations and treatment of children, parents, and families Carry a case load of 8 to 9 cases; averaging 5.5 hours of direct service per week per case Provides psychotherapeutic services to families through individual, family, group or play therapy to promote change in the family system. Provide case management, advocacy and concrete service delivery Guide family and team in formulation of treatment goals and strategies Formulate recommendations with entire IICAPS team. Attend IICAPS trainings and adhere to Yale IICAPS model as overseen and directed by Director Must be willing to schedule family visits during late afternoon and evening times and/or weekend hours After hours on call duty as part of a regular rotation (may require going into the home) Manage ongoing insurance authorization for cases Documents and evaluates all services and procedures to be in adherence with state statutes, COA standards and Boys & Girls Village standards. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Participate in supervision and case presentations. Provides resolution of problems arising during a crisis (on call rotation via cell phone). Collaborates with other service providers to assure continuity of care. Complete documentation within required time frames Keeps the Coordinator and Director apprised of all situations which involve the safety of any individuals in the program or community, to monitor the impact on the agency as well as its mission of care for children and families. Prevents, intervenes and reports instances of child abuse or neglect. Performs additional duties as assigned to deliver seamless services through Boys & Girls Village. Present cases in rounds and develops treatment plans Must attend all agency and IICAPS required trainings and meetings Complete QI measures and contract requirements ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: Masters Degree in Marriage & Family, Clinical Counseling, or equivalent Must be licensed or license eligible. Must have valid driver's license and good driving record. Must be willing to drive to off-campus sites for home visits and collaborative meetings Must have access to reliable transportation Experience in case management and crisis intervention. Substantial experience working with children and families within a system approach to treatment. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bi-lingual (Spanish) desired. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to climb several flights of stairs Must be able to work with clients in a variety of settings WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT Evening and/or occasional weekends are required Ability to be flexible with work schedule

When meeting with the youth and their family, Mobile Crisis clinicians complete a comprehensive assessment and coordinate care with any existing providers, as well as make referrals for recommended services as needed. Mobile Crisis clinicians are available for telephone consultations as well if a full assessment is not needed or desired. Mobile Crisis clinicians can provide support to the youth and their family for up to six weeks following the initial intervention to provide a bridge to other services when clinically indicated. CYB School counselors will be assigned to Department of Defense (DoDEA) schools and community schools and will need to have experience working in a school setting to qualify for a school position. CYB School counselors will also be assigned to youth programs, summer camps, and on demand assignments. The counselors work closely with the installation and military branch Points of Contact (POC) to assure that the program is provided within scope and meets the needs of the installation and the schools. Provides non-medical, short-term, solution focused, counseling directly to eligible children and youth of service members at assigned primary and secondary locations. Services include assessment, brief counseling and consultation, action planning, referral to resources (assuring linkage as appropriate), and follow-up as indicated. Responds to critical incidents and special requests as directed by the POC and approved by the Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) program manager. Participates in regular in-services/training, Quality Improvement committees, initiatives, studies, pilot programs other contract activities as assigned/appropriate as directed by the customer and/or Magellan. PURPOSE/FUNCTION OF PROGRAM: The Kraft House is a 12-bed inpatient psychiatric residential treatment program for adolescent boys, including those boys with substance use disorder who have experienced emotional, physical, or sexual abuse. Safe Haven is a residential program for boys with Problem Sexual Behavior (PSB). These programs share staff with our therapeutic day school. These services are delivered in a manner which is consistent with the Agency's goals and mission. II. POSITION OVERVIEW: The Mental Health Workers function as a Mental Health Worker but work on an as needed basis when available. They are responsible for directly engaging with youth in care and assisting them in developing adaptive living skills. They also actively supervise, monitor, and manage crisis situations therapeutically. III. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Provide a safe, orderly and nurturing living experience for children in care by providing direct care, supervision, behavioral management, recreational and therapeutic programming 2. Assist clients with daily living skills as well as teach clients so that they can learn new skills. 3. Ensure that goals/objectives of each client's treatment and crisis management plans are implemented as part of the daily activities. 4. Complete documentation daily including PNMI moments in time (Safe Haven), monitoring sheets, and incident reports. 5. Ensure that any issues or client behaviors that are observed are discussed with the Supervisors so that the shift summary can accurately reflect what occurred throughout the shift. 6. Immediately notify supervisors and/or Director regarding campus crisis situations, including elopements, major aggression and sexual acting out. Immediately report to supervisor anytime emergency personnel are on campus. 7. Be familiar with and implement all program policies and procedures. 8. Provide crisis intervention utilizing individual, group and peer principles. If necessary perform emergency safety interventions (restraints) safely and effectively. 9. May be mandated to stay beyond the end of shift if coverage is required. 10. Adhere to the staffing schedule with the understanding that shift assignments are determined by program needs. 11. If Med certified, administer medication, as scheduled by nurse and prescribed by psychiatrist. 12. Attend weekly staff meetings when applicable. 13. Complete all Relias trainings (online and in person) by due date. 14. Accepts additional assignments and responsibilities as requested by supervisors. IV. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: 1.
