We are a precision CNC machining company specializing in prototype and low-volume production for aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. AS9100-certified and dedicated to quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement, we're looking for a Senior Machinist to lead by example on the shop floor-handling complex setups, mentoring junior machinists, and driving performance through technical leadership. What You'll Do: Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes using ProShop ERP job travelers and engineering drawings Interpret GD&T and validate part conformance using tools like micrometers, indicators, and height gages Create or edit CNC toolpaths using Mastercam as needed to support operations Optimize tooling, feeds/speeds, and setup processes for efficiency and quality Perform in-process inspections and coach machinists on quality-at-the-source Collaborate with the Manufacturing Manager on priorities, issues, and workflow optimization Document job progress and inspection results in ProShop ERP Identify and contribute to process improvements across the shop floor Promote and maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work environment Requirements What We're Looking For: 5+ years of experience in CNC machining with strong setup and troubleshooting skills Proficient in blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation Experience with Mastercam, ProShop ERP, and mechanical inspection tools Solid knowledge of machining strategies, tooling, and material behaviors Strong communication skills and a natural leadership presence Familiarity with AS9100 procedures and documentation Reliable, self-motivated, and focused on quality and continuous improvement Benefits What We Offer: Hands-on leadership opportunity in a growing, team-focused environment Clean, organized shop with modern equipment Small team where your experience makes a real impact Competitive pay based on experience Benefits available after the probationary period A culture built around learning, accountability, and doing things right Ready to Apply?
