    The Accounting Senior within the Accounting Center of Excellence (CoE) will play a crucial role in the daily operations of the accounting team. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Responsibilities: Support month, quarter, and year-end reporting activities for timely and accurate reporting Prepare & review journal entries and account reconciliations Actively participate in monthly balance sheet reviews working with the business and SSC Investigate and resolve accounting issues Support OneStream reporting to ensure it is performed timely and accurately Ensure integrity and reliability of all financial transactions and that they are in accordance with US GAAP and company standards Support internal and external audit requests, and participate in efforts to remediate audit and control findings Document standard operating procedures and instructions surrounding accounting procedures Share best practices in accounting practices with others in the Accounting CoE and support the Accounting Manager to implement them within the team Process Improvement & Special Projects Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead the team in implementing best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness across the close and reporting processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting operations Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Accounting Manager Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required CPA or equivalent certification preferred Experience: Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience Skills: Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., JDE, SL9) Strong experience ensuring SOX compliance required Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

What You'll Do: • Manage monthly financial close procedures for multiple entities • Perform first-level P&L reviews and partner with accounting to ensure accuracy • Prepare weekly budget vs. actual reports and quarterly incentive calculations • Build monthly KPI reporting and financial packages • Execute ad hoc projects such as brand-level analysis, including OpEx, headcount, and retention • Collaborate cross-functionally and proactively identify opportunities to improve processes Qualifications: • Coming from a Big 4 or large regional public accounting firm (2+ busy seasons) • Curious mindset with strong analytical skills • Excellent communication and a professional, friendly presence • Self-starter who enjoys solving business problems and jumping into new challenges Work Environment: • Hybrid: 2 days per week on-site for collaboration- Morrisville, NC
