Bucks County Bar Association company history timeline
In 1853, seventeen members of the Bucks County bar met and formed the Association of the Bar of Bucks County, an organization comprised of legal practitioners.
The carriage house, at the northwest corner of Broad Street and Garden Alley, was built in 1860.
However, the law firm’s origins date back to Arthur’s father, Hugh B. Eastburn, who was admitted to the Bucks County Bar on August 14, 1877.
Incorporated in 1883 with 40 charter members, the Bucks County Bar Association initially concerned itself with the welfare of the judicial system, the courts, the administration of justice, service to the public and the betterment of the profession.
In 1975, the firm purchased the house located at 60 East Court Street, along with the carriage house at the rear of 68 East Court Street.
