1996

1996 Cadence Group changed its focus to fully utilize the blend of library science, research and technology skills, offering professional services and technology solutions that enabled clients to easily obtain, manage, and disseminate information.

1999

By 1999, company sales were faltering and stock price had plummeted.

2000

As worldwide economies began to slow during 2000, Cadence's design services segment was negatively affected.

In fact, net income soared to $141.3 million, an increase of 182.6 percent over 2000 figures.

2000: Cadence creates the subsidiary Tality Corporation.

2001

With revenues of $1.43 billion in 2001, Cadence Design Systems, Inc. is the world's leading developer of electronic design automation (EDA) products and services.

Under the leadership of Bingham, Cadence secured record level sales in 2001 despite the challenging economy.

2002

Cadence continued to restructure this subsidiary during 2002, making a series of job cuts and closing several design centers.

2003

2003 Cadence Group announced the opening of its Washington, D.C. office.

2003 Cadence Group also launched a new version of its virtual information center solution called In-forté. In-forté is an enterprise outsourcing solution that cost-effectively acquires decision-support information through product evaluation and aggregation of content purchases.

2004

2004 Cadence Group created cg-research.com, an e-commerce site for on-demand research.

2004 Cadence Group awarded contract on GSA Schedule 70 – SIN 132-51 – Information Technology (IT) Professional Services.

The company also sought expansion in China, which was projected to become the largest Asian EDA market by 2004.

2010

2010 Cadence Group launched the ePurge tool in response to our consulting teams identifying a need for a tool to simplify and automate the compliant cleanup electronic records at our large client sites.

2011

30 years after the launch of ECAD, Cadence employs approximately 4,900 people worldwide, reported 2011 revenues of $1.1 billion, and provides a wide range of IC, PCB and system design products that are used by nearly every semiconductor and electronic systems provider today.

2012

Fast forward to 2012, and Cadence has enjoyed three years of steady growth in revenues and earnings.

2015

2015 Launched a Compliance Help Desk including regulations for 50 states, and over 30 countries.

2018

2018 Cadence Group and Highlight Technologies Form Joint Venture under the SBA ALL Small Mentor Protégé Program

2022

Cadence Digital and Custom/Analog Design Flows Certified by TSMC for Latest N3E and N4P Processes started by Daniel Nenni on June 14, 2022
