* Diet order processing
* Monitor modified diet provision
* Assist the Dietetic Technicians to provide support to Registered Dietitians
* Performance Improvement and other duties as assigned

is located in the city of Visalia. Under the close supervision of a Staff Services Manager I, a GraduateStudentAssistant (GSA) may in addition to special projects and conducting a prevocational career workshop, assist one or more Senior Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors to determine vocational rehabilitation potential and eligibility for services of individuals with disabilities. The GSA works an average of 20 - 30 hours per week as a GraduateStudentAssistant in a trainee capacity to assist in the delivery of a wide range of vocational rehabilitation services including vocational assessment and placement services. The GSA receives training and gains practical experience from observing and assisting the counseling staff in the District.
The GSA may counsel with, plan, arrange for, and coordinate the vocational rehabilitation of persons with physical and mental disabilities which are substantial impediments to suitable employment once they have been trained. They may assist to analyze and interpret medical, psychological and vocational records and information for the purpose of developing rehabilitation plans. They develop and maintain timely and necessary case documentation. They may serve as liaison and consultant to employers and community organizations regarding opportunities and considerations related to hiring individuals with disabilities.
The GraduateStudentAssistant classification is restricted to students in a college or university curriculum leading to an advanced degree in a professional area and requires the performance of entry-level professional work. The work assigned to incumbents of both classes must be related directly to their college curriculum and academic goals.

Graduate student assistant job at California State Association of Counties
is located in the city of San Marcos. Under the close supervision of a Rehabilitation Supervisor or Staff Services Manager I, the GraduateStudentAssistant (GSA) will work an average of 15-20 hours per week in a trainee capacity and may assist in the delivery of vocational rehabilitation services including vocational assessments and conducting employment related workshops. The GSA will receive training and gain practical experience from observing and assisting professional staff in the District. They may assist to analyze and interpret medical, psychological and vocational records and information for the purpose of developing successful rehabilitation plans and case management. They may develop and maintain timely and necessary case documentation. The GSA may counsel with, plan, arrange for, and coordinate the vocational rehabilitation of persons with physical and mental disabilities which are substantial impediments to suitable employment once they have been trained. They may serve as liaison and consultant to community organizations regarding opportunities and considerations related to hiring individuals with disabilities.
Under Government Code 14200, this position is a hybrid, in-office/telework position, and may be subject to change. Incumbent must live and work in California. Incumbent can be required to report to the office, or any designated location at any time. Telework agreements can be modified and/or cancelled at any time.

Working Conditions
Permanent Intermittent employees are not allowed to work more than 1500 hours in a calendar year. The anticipated time worked will be 15-20 hours per week. If selected, the employee will receive an hourly compensation based on the number of hours worked.
The majority of the work will take place in one of the following locations with consumers, the public, colleagues, and other stakeholders: a DOR open office setting in a cubicle environment, offsite in the community, at events and various partner locations, and/or at an approved alternate work location. Under supervision from a Staff Services Manager I, the GraduateStudentAssistant (GSA) will assist the CSP Senior Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, and other professionals, prepare individuals with disabilities to reach their employment potential, playing a pivotal role in advancing the California Subminimum Wage to Integrated Employment Project (CSP). The GSA works an average of 15-20 hours per week in a trainee capacity to assist with the delivery of Customized Employment (CE) services to individuals with disabilities, particularly those with significant barriers to employment, supporting them in obtaining competitive, community-based jobs that pay at least minimum wage.
Proof of enrollment in a graduate program is required. This is a non-tenure/intermittent position. GraduateStudentAssistants can work no more than 1500 hours in a 12 consecutive month period.
Travel is required (e.g. local schools, community organizations and/or employer sites).
Under Government Code 14200, this position is a hybrid, in-office/telework position, and may be subject to change. Incumbent must live and work in California. Incumbent can be required to report to the office, or any designated location at any time. Telework agreements can be modified and/or cancelled at any time.

Working Conditions

Graduate student assistant job at California State Association of Counties
is located in the city of Madera. Under the direction of the Team Manager, Staff Services Manager I, the GraduateStudentAssistant will assist with the delivery of services to consumers in a Vocational Rehabilitation Service Delivery (VRSD) Team. Work a minimum of 20-30 hours per week as a GSA in a trainee capacity to assist in the delivery of a wide range of vocational rehabilitation services. The GSA receives training and gains practical experience from observing and assisting the counseling staff and support staff in the Remote Services Unit in a hybrid format. Services are provided both remotely and in person. Individuals served by this unit may be located throughout California.
The GSA assists the VR Service Delivery Team with the counseling; planning, arranging, and coordination of vocational rehabilitation services for persons with physical and mental disabilities which are substantial impediments to suitable employment. They develop and maintain timely and necessary case documentation. Serve as liaison and consultant to employers and community organizations regarding opportunities and considerations related to hiring individuals with disabilities.

Working Conditions
The majority of the work will take place in one of the following locations with consumers, the public, colleagues, and other stakeholders: a DOR open office setting in a cubicle environment, offsite in the community, at events and various partner locations, and/or at an approved alternate work location. The incumbent must have the ability to work in an office setting for up to 40 hours per week and remain at a workstation for extended periods while utilizing a personal computer, peripherals, and other office equipment with or without accommodation. The incumbent will be working in an office setting with both natural and artificial lighting. Strong interpersonal skills are required to interact effectively with consumers, the public, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

They will learn to provide rehabilitative programs and services through appropriate patient assessment, treatment, service planning, therapeutic activities, discharge planning and community reintegration by using the principles and practices of the respected disciplines to develop, maintain, or restore physical, emotional, and social competencies of the patients. The Music Therapy Intern will learn to provide recovery focused treatment interventions and participate on the treatment teams of patients assigned under the supervision of the Internship Supervisors.
* Learn to gather information on the patients assigned through attendance in shift changes, treatment teams, group observation, patient interview, chart review, and consultations. Patient caseload will be assigned by supervisor.
* Learn to organize, plan, and conduct rehabilitation therapy treatment groups. Groups will follow recovery principles, recognizing and integrating the patient's strengths, interests, and therapeutic goals.
* Applies and demonstrates knowledge of correct methods in Therapeutic Strategies and Interventions (TSI). Assist in the maintenance of a safe and secure environment through response to physical assaults, escape attempts or other major patient disturbance, and assist in the management of the conduct of patients.
* Attend and participate in interdisciplinary treatment teams and other clinical meetings as assigned and/or requested.
* Prepare and present a case study to the rehabilitation therapy service.
Expectations for entering the internship include:
* Completion of coursework towards a degree in Music Therapy with the anticipated completion of a bachelor's degree from an American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) accredited college or university.
* Eligibility for internship placement as defined by the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) including completion of coursework and demonstration of competency pre-requisites.
* Have basic functional music skills and be familiar with a wide variety of musical forms and styles.
* Have good written and verbal communication skills.
* Be able to structure group sessions and formulate SMART objectives for groups and individuals.
* Be receptive to feedback.
* Demonstrate self-awareness and an ability to maintain strong interpersonal boundaries.

Under the close supervision of an Employment Program Manager I and the direct guidance of an Employment Program Representative, Range B or above, as the YEOP mentor, and after on-the-job training, studentassistants will provide services to youth designated as at-risk. Studentassistants will: case manage clients through peer advising, refer clients to training, education providers, and supportive services, provide educational guidance and career awareness, provide employment preparation assistance and job referrals, conduct YEOP workshops and outreach, present YEOP services to the local community, schools, community based organizations (CBO), partner and employer groups to recruit clients, promote the program, and solicit support. The studentassistant will ensure that all clients are registered in CalJOBS and that program services provided are recorded in CalJOBS. The studentassistant will maintain client case folders by adhering to guidelines in the YEOP manual.
StudentAssistants represent the Employment Development Department (EDD) and the Youth Employment Opportunity Program at local high school and college special events, career days and job fairs.

This position will work under the supervision of Hearst Castle's Museum Director and working directly with the District Maintenance Chief, Curator I, and Guide Supervisors.
The StudentAssistant participates in Hearst Castle's Internship Program and supports the implementation of Hearst Castle's mission and strategic plan priorities. The StudentAssistant will receive experience in interpretation in the Guide Department guarding tours and interpreting the Castle's collections, working with the Grounds Department to learn techniques to care for the historic landscape and gardens, and in the Collections Management Department learning to care for museum objects. This internship provides on-the-job instruction and training; introduction to policies, procedures, and techniques; experience performing tasks which are valuable and necessary to provide practical experience in the technical duties required by the Guide, Collections, and Grounds Departments. This internship is designed to give college students experience in the Historic Museum field.

Under the supervision of the Supervisor of Academic Instruction (SAI) and with direction and monitoring from the classroom teacher, the Teaching Assistant (TA) will provide instructional support to teachers. The TA's duties involve providing tutorial instruction to students in order to provide special instruction to those needing instructional support the opportunity to participate more fully in the program.
