    Under the direction of the Community Resource Manager, the Native American Spiritual Leader is to provide spiritual and moral guidance to incarcerated persons and to conduct and/or facilitate Native American spiritual ceremonies, oral traditions and cultural studies. To meet the criteria for monthly Incarcerated person Pay, you must supervise a minimum of 2 incarcerated-person workers, who substantially replace civil service employees for a combined total of at least 173 hours per month. In addition, you must attach a letter to your monthly CDCR 998-A, Employee Attendance Record certified by your supervisor that the criteria to receive Incarcerated person Pay was met allowing the Personnel Office to proceed with monthly Incarcerated person Pay. CDCR 998-As submitted without the required certification will be sufficient cause to discontinue the monthly Incarcerated person Pay incentive. Employees receiving Incarcerated person Pay are responsible for retention of incarcerated person timesheets at each worksite. When incarcerated people are unassigned, it is your responsibility to contact the Incarcerated person Assignments Office to have incarcerated persons assigned to meet the above criteria. If the criteria is not met, you are not entitled to receive Incarcerated person Pay and you must notify the Personnel Office immediately. Lays out, designs, oversees, and works with inmate crews in the planting, cultivating, and maintaining flower beds, lawns, shrubs, and trees, and grounds maintenance work. Through subordinate supervisors, the State Fleet Asset Manager manages the Fleet Asset Management Service (FAMS) Unit, Auto Repair Vendor Program (Vendor Program), and Statewide Inspection Services (Inspection Services). This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code. The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment and once per year. This position may require travel. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
