I am passionate about improving the safety of Recreational Vehicles through compliance education and effective standards representation and development.

Having started my career in the industry over 15 years ago repairing and constructing Caravans, I soon developed a solid trade background, appreciation and passion for the diverse range of regulations that governed Recreational Vehicles.

Keen to make a difference and improve the compliance of Recreational Vehicles, I pursued an industry research role in 2013 where I oversaw the development of specific technical trade resource materials for use by the manufacturing and repair sectors.

This project gave me a greater appreciation of the complexity of Recreational Vehicle regulation, and the challenges associated with achieving compliance to such a broad range of standards.

Joining Caravan Industry Association of Australia in 2015, I am now privileged to be involved in a number of industry and government technical committees.

I also have an interest in international regulations, particularly those that apply to Recreational Vehicles in other global markets. Having spent time abroad in America and Germany, I have a acquired a sound knowledge of a number of IEC, NFPA and ANSI standards.
