Job Summary

Roles And Responsibilities
Provide support, leadership & training to Business Office staff at campus locations.
Provide ongoing education to Business Office and Campus Leaders as needed and/or requested.
Prepare and conduct Quarterly AR Reviews with the BOM and Business Office Support Team.
Complete AR Review report setting goals and expectations for subsequent quarterly reviews.
Monitor and report progress and concerns to campus or home office leadership, and provide guidance and recommendations on next steps to secure balance or deem as uncollectable.
Provide support to campus BOM and assist with the completion of daily census reconciliation and incoming referrals for Private Pay, Managed Care, Medicaid and Hospice as necessary.
Oversee, review and assist campuses with month end close and billing processes.
Organize and manage the set-up of Business Office and Billing Systems for each new Health Campus.
Monitor, oversee and review Resident Trust Reconciliations each month to ensure accuracy and balances and bring issues to the attention of campus or home office leadership.
Address operational concerns and develop action plans to ensure acceptable compliance levels.
Partner with Campus Executive Director to recruit, interview, select, hire train, coach, and counsel Business Office Personnel.
Monitor and ensure Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Key Controls are in place at each campus and report any issues to campus or home office leadership for remediation.

Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and patient-centered Chiropractor to join our clinic team. This part-time role focuses on delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive, streamlined environment, allowing you to focus on what you do best, improving lives through routine chiropractic care.
Key Responsibilities
* Consult with patients by reviewing health and medical histories, examining, and evaluating neuromusculoskeletal systems
* Perform manual adjustments to the spine and other joints to correct musculoskeletal conditions
* Educate patients on the benefits of routine chiropractic care and recommend treatment plans
* Maintain accurate and timely patient records
* Arrange for diagnostic imaging when medically necessary and analyze results

Qualifications
* Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from an accredited college
* Valid DC license in the applicable state
* Passing scores for NBCE Parts I-IV or recent SPEC exam
* Eligibility for malpractice insurance

This role requires availability part-time and includes some weekdays and weekends.

Opens the office and monitors the organization of the waiting room.
Maintains an orderly and welcoming reception area at all times during normal business hours.

Observes office flow to ensure patients receive prompt care. Notifies patients of change in schedule and updates them as office delays arise.
Verifies insurance and personal information with patient.

Ensures HIPAA compliance in all aspects of workflow.

Ensures efficient patient flow while obtaining vital signs, and verifying complete case information.
Notifies provider of patient appointment/procedure readiness, assisting provider with medical supplies or equipment needs.

Cleans, stocks, and turns over rooms post patient visit.
Monitors supply list and stocking clinical office supplies as needed.
Reviews last visit notes prior to patient visit for orders & instructions needing completion prior to visit, ensuring all items are received.
Prints appointment lists, visit slips, and medical profile sheets.
Verifies completion of HIPAA information, authorization and precertification prior to patient visit by monitoring exception list.
Requests films, labs, etc. from hospital, referring providers, or GCBS offices.

Job Description:
Front Office Check-in/out at local, high-volume, medical practice at our Jeffersonville and New Albany, Indiana Offices. Greets patients and visitors in a professional, friendly and hospitable manner, responsible for answering incoming calls, providing information, transferring calls or taking messages per instruction from appropriate provider/clinician, documents information in appropriate methods. Responds to patient requests/messages, gives information, sets appointments, etc. Skilled in written and verbal communication to assist with a variety of issues. Excellent ability to multitask required. Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills, must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly.
Responsibilities:
· Acknowledge all patients in a professional and timely manner.
· Exhibit excellent customer service internally with patients and other external contacts.
· Educate patients regarding upcoming visits, locations, times, etc.
· Provides a variety of information.
· Accurately documents all conversations, calls and actions in the patient's electronic medical record and any supporting log.
· Verify billing items are correct and approved.
· Refer unresolved patient issues to designated departments for further investigation.
· Schedules appointments for follow-ups and established patients.
· Verifies insurance and obtains authorizations.
· Provides patients with lab orders at checkout
· Coordinates doctor-to-doctor referrals
· Verifies insurance and obtains prior authorizations
· Enters labs and scans into patient charts
· Maintains an organized lobby during open hours

Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year experience a medical receptionist and/or medical assistant.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA requirements.
Two years of full-time experience working in a professional office environment
Excellent written and verbal command of English.
Demonstrated data entry skills, advanced software use, including Microsoft Office.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to be compassionate.
Successful clearance screen through the Office of Inspector General (OIG) for federal health programs.
Education and Certifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Physical Requirements:

Job Purpose
To effectively and efficiently check in patients, verify insurance eligibility, confirm and/or reschedule appointments as needed, and collect payments for services provided.

Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients
Answering the phone and scheduling appointments
Maintain patient accounts and records
Knowing and understanding insurance plan rules and protocols and able to follow them
Having patience and ability to be sensitive to patient emotions

Verify patient's insurance

Understand and follow HIPAA regulations, state and Federal OSHA laws and safety standards and maintain confidentiality.
