SUMMARY
The Buyer role is a critical position that ensures 3rd party and intercompany suppliers are delivering quality products on time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with internal teams, such as Engineering, Planning, Logistics and Quality on any Supplier involvement to ensure an uninterrupted supply of quality materials, information, and services.
Participate in Inter-Department meetings with Engineering and Planning on project status and supplier updates.
Be the primary point of contact between Carel and assigned Suppliers.
Manage the Inter-Company and 3rd party Supplier relationships by communicating forecast data, expectations and performance.
Monitor daily order confirmations and past due shipments and elevate any issues that will cause a stock out or manufacturing delay and provide daily updates to internal planners and manufacturing personnel as to delivery dates, delays, and/or process problems.
Interact with internal teams and suppliers to ensure disposition of defective materials.
Perform a root-cause analysis to correct Supplier performance and/or quality issues.
Proactively manage stock outs or at risk materials to prevent manufacturing shut down.
Identify opportunities for localization, additional supplier depth and costs savings.
Be a member of a team that evaluates, approves and on boards new suppliers as well as audits existing suppliers.
Manage the RFQ process.
Negotiate pricing and supplier programs, such as stocking agreements, VMI, consignment, etc…to ensure materials are readily available to Carel and savings targets are met.

QUALIFICATIONS

Position Summary:
The Quality Manager is responsible for driving the quality strategy and ensuring the consistent application of quality systems across all sites in the region. This role leads initiatives to improve product quality, ensure regulatory compliance, reduce quality-related costs, and strengthen customer satisfaction. The role requires cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and corporate quality teams in a matrixed global environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality systems aligned with global policies and ISO 9001 standards.
Oversee all QA/QC activities for multiple manufacturing sites, including internal audits, supplier quality management, and customer complaint resolution.
Define and track KPIs to monitor and improve product and process quality across all facilities.
Collaborate with plant managers and engineering teams to ensure robust root cause analysis and implementation of effective corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in quality management roles within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong background in supplier quality, including vendor qualification, audits, performance improvement, and corrective actions.

Demonstrated success managing quality systems and teams across multiple sites.

SUMMARY
This position will be responsible for the design, development and manufacturing set-up of Electrical Panels for the HVAC/R Market. This person will work in the ECP (Electrical Control Panel) division in Carel USA under the supervision of the ECP manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
Assist in Designing Electrical Panels for the HVAC/R market (heat pumps, chillers, air handling units, refrigeration racks, cold rooms, etc).
Communicating with the branch offices to define and formalize the needs of the customer.
Estimating the development and manufacturing time along with costs of Panel projects.
Work with the Purchasing Department to source the necessary components.
Assisting sales people to formulate a commercial offer by analyzing the costs of labor and materials.
Designing the product following Carel's guidelines and procedures, and UL standards (when required).
Work with the Operations' Manufacturing Engineers, Test Engineers and Value Stream Leaders to manufacture Panel prototypes and pre-series.
Work with R&D engineers for specific Carel product knowledge and development.
Assist the Quality and Operations departments in monitoring the production of the products (manufacturing quality, delivery times) and work on the continuous maintenance and improvement of existing ECP projects.

SUMMARY
The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will oversee the performance and maintenance of large production machinery and perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities, including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems. Washes shower walls and tub, cleans toilet(s) and stall walls if applicable, wipes exposed pipes, cleans mirrors, sink(s) and walls in order to have clean and sanitary guest and public restrooms.
Replaces towels, soaps and all room amenities and restocks literature that has been removed by the previous guest or is soiled and torn to ensure adequate supply for arriving guests.
Washes all hard floor areas (linoleum, tile, etc.) by hand to remove dirt and soiled areas.
Dusts and polishes all furniture, fixtures, and wall hangings including using a duster to reach vents and ceiling corners to remove dust and cobwebs.
Strips bed of all linen and remakes with fresh, checking bedspread, blankets and bed pads for cleanliness, replacing if soiled. Lifts mattresses to check for soil between mattresses and under the bed.
Checks closet for cleanliness, wiping closet door, handle and overhead shelves and restocking the guest room supplies such as hangers, extra blankets, and pillows.
Vacuums rooms, public areas, and hallways, operating vacuums weighing up to 25lbs., and lifting/moving heavy furniture in order to vacuum entire area of carpet including underneath furniture and hard to reach areas.
Inspects all door and window locks to ensure they are in working order and immediately alerts management to an unsecured or unsafe situation for the safety of guests and employees.
Inspects all room equipment (TV, lights/lamps, faucets, radios) to ensure proper working order and immediately reports all room status and room maintenance deficiencies, in writing, to the proper department for prompt repair/resolution.
Secures and maintains custody of equipment, keys, and supplies at all times in order to protect and preserve hotel property.
Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.
Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.
Assists the laundry department by retrieving soiled linen from carts throughout the hotel, sorting laundry into correct size loads, utilizing industrial washers, dryers and pressers, folding and distributing the cleaned linen to storage closets and/or carts.
Provides assistance to other employees and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
