Cascade currently has six treatment locations in Lewis County. We are looking for a Peer Certified Client Transporter to join our Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) team. The Client Transporter is responsible for providing transportation services to clients as assigned. SHIFTS AVAILABLE: This position will normally require that the employee work a standard, Monday through Friday, forty (40) hour work week. This position is classified as being non-exempt according to the Fair Labor Standards Act. PAY SCALE: $21.42 - $26.11, DOE WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE: Experience in transportation industry preferred. Must have High School Diploma or G.E.D. Washington State Department of Health Credential required, Registered Agency Affiliated Counselor (RAAC). Must be a Washington State Certified Peer Counselor. Must be able to pass WA State Patrol background check. National background check may be required. Must have a current Washington State Drivers License. Must have an acceptable driving record. Must be physically and legally able to drive, including in inclement weather. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to work independently with limited supervision. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Must be able to represent the Agency in a positive and professional manner. Must be able to enter information into a computer network system. Must comply with agency policies and procedures. Must maintain current home telephone and address on file with the personnel office. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Transports clients to approved scheduled appointments, or other approved locations. Monitor client during transportation. Provides peer counseling and support by drawing on common experiences as a peer to validate clients experiences and provide guidance and encouragement to clients to take responsibility and actively participate in their own recovery. Must document clients served and any pertinent interactions. Conducts vehicle safety check before each use. Demonstrates knowledge of Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB), must pass MOAB training course. Outpatient transport: must evade client in the event of assaultive behavior. Punctual and attentive to procedures and schedule. Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, and/or changed at the discretion of management. Complete all required AOT duties including coordination with referents, courts, and community partners. Team members provide rotating coverage for 12 hours per day Monday to Friday and 8 hours per day on weekends & holidays. MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage and facilitate PACTs SUD Programming: The PACT model requires the SUDP to divide their time into approximately 80% facilitation of the SUD program and 20% direct case management work. The PACT SUDP will update substance use treatment plans monthly according to the clients identified stage of change and propose effective, evidence-based interventions to meet each stage. Act as the PACT team's subject matter expert for substance use disorders. Provide consultation to other team members regarding SUD issues, treatment, and education, including Harm Reduction best practices. Provide staff training on substance use issues, as appropriate. Provide individual and group substance use disorder (SUD) treatment in office and in community settings using a stage-based treatment model that is non-confrontational, considers interactions of mental illness and substance use, and has client-determined goals. With the clients participation, develop support and treatment plans; facilitate linkages to collaborative resources when appropriate. Plan, organize and facilitate treatment and support groups for clients, as appropriate. Monitor and coordinate replacement of PACT harm reduction supplies. Advocate for client access to community resources and services, ensuring that client needs are met and rights maintained; consult and collaborate with community providers to ensure continuity of care. Under the general direction of the Director of Clinical Education and the supervision of the Clinical Educator, the Clinical Student Intern for phlebotomy is trained in and performs a variety of functions related to specimen collection, transport, and processing, the control and management of confidential information, the utilization of age related concepts for neonates (0-1 month) infants (1 month to age 1) toddlers (1-2 years), preschoolers (3-5 years), school age (6-12 years) of adolescents (ages 13-17) and adult patients including early adult (ages 18-35) middle adult (ages 36-65) and older adult (ages 66+) when communicating with patients and families, using medical equipment, or participating in diagnostic or other procedures. Must be selected for the internal phlebotomy training program, successfully complete program requirements, and be eligible for the WA State Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist license. Diploma or GED + Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification within 6 months (180 days) of hire Preferred Qualifications: + Coursework/Training: Be selected for enrollment in the Providence School of Phlebotomy training program. + Complete the Providence School of Phlebotomy training program within 3 months of hire. + 1 year of Healthcare experience including verbal interactions with patients, physicians and other health care professionals. + 6 months of Customer service experience and phone experience. + 6 months of Laboratory or related science experience.
