CentraState Medical Center currently has an employment opportunity available for a Housekeeper. This role is responsible for performing cleaning duties and related services throughout both patient and non-patient areas, helping to maintain a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment across the facility.
Overnight Shift schedule: 11pm-7am
Responsibilities
Effectively performs a variety of housekeeping functions including mopping, dusting, sanitizing, wiping, scrubbing, buffing, and other manual jobs on floors, walls, beds, furniture, fixtures etc.
Operates floor-cleaning machinery to maintain hard flooring and carpets.
Collects and disposes of regular and medical wastes at loading dock.
Replenishes soap, paper towels, toilet paper and other supplies as needed.
Maintains housekeeping cart and equipment.
Hangs drapes and curtains and moves furniture as necessary.
Assembles set ups as requested by departments.
Distributes clean linen and collects and stores dirty linen for pick up.
Responsible for disinfecting and cleaning the following spaces to include, but not limited to:
Public Waiting Areas
Cafeteria/Kitchen Settings
Personal offices and cubicle spaces
Outpatient Services Departmental Cleaning (Therapy, Radiology, Laboratory, etc)
Bathrooms
Performs patient/resident room cleaning and discharge cleaning, including those areas contaminated or potentially contaminated with an emerging viral pathogen.
Performs terminal cleanings in Operating Room (OR) suites
Cleans and disinfects designated supply areas and scrub areas.
Adheres to Infection Control and departmental guidelines.
Completes assignments in timely manner and utilizes time effectively.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
Ability to understand oral/written instructions in English.

CentraState is currently seeking a Painter. Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, this role performs a wide range of duties aimed at repairing, maintaining, and enhancing the physical operation of the facility and its components.
Hours: Mon-Fri 7:30-3:30, occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
Responsibilities
Surface Preparation:
Applies knowledge of and demonstrates advanced proficiency in repairing and preparing surfaces for painting and wall covering.
Repair of plaster and drywall surfaces.
Repair of masonry surfaces.
Preparing wood and metal surfaces.
Surface Treatment:
Applies knowledge of and demonstrates advanced proficiency in painting, finishing, treatment and covering of a wide variety of interior and exterior surfaces.
General painting; i.e. oil, latex, epoxy, etc - Wall covering; i.e. vinyl, paper, etc.
Finishing; i.e. lacquer, varnish, polyethylene - Mixes ingredients to obtain proper match and consistency.
Coordinates work with other employees and various trades to ensure successful completion of job.
Responsible for production and/or refinishing of internal and external signage.
Promptly responds to all emergency calls and drills. Demonstrates knowledge of emergency procedures.
Consults with and keeps supervisor informed of activities, needs and problems.
Maintains established hospital and departmental policies, procedures, objectives, quality assurance, environmental and infection control, and complies with codes and requirements of accreditation and regulatory agencies.
Cares for and maintains supplies, equipment and work areas, removes trash and debris from job area.
Maintains personal inventory of disposable items in an orderly fashion at all times.
Requisitions supply and equipment needs.
Assists other employees in the performance of trade or other assignments, and performs similar duties at a skill level of a Maintenance Mechanic II.
Removes snow and ice when required to ensure the safety of CentraState patients, residents, employees, emergency personnel, and visitors. Based on population served, as well as nature and hours of operation, staff are required to be on site to perform this essential work extended hours and outside of regularly scheduled hours as needed.
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalency and some technical and/or mechanical curriculum required.
Five (5) years of painting trade experience or equivalent preferred. Experience in a healthcare environment is a plus.
Valid driver's license required- subject to driving record review
Knowledge of estimating and sequencing projects required.
Must be self-motivated and able to plan and perform effectively to meet deadlines.

The Clinical Documentation Improvement Program (CDIP) Administrative Director is a key position within the organization. This role provides system wide administrative and operational oversight to the Cooper Health Care CDIP, both for inpatient and professional billing, as well as serving as the point of contact for strategic planning and execution, and operations related to clinical documentation.

Short Description
The auditor reviews professional fee billing, coding and documentation. Reviews to be performed are identified based on the then-current OIG Workplan and compliance risk analyses. Customers include employed providers, senior leadership, clinical and non-clinical staff of Cooper University Health Care.
Under the supervision of the Chief Compliance Officer, auditors are responsible for supporting the corporate compliance program, responsibilities include:
Performance of timely and effective compliance and operational reviews to assess coding, documentation and billing accuracy, identify compliance related risks, internal control weaknesses, revenue capture opportunities and assist in determining the root cause of any identified non-compliance with government rules and regulations, state laws and Cooper policies and procedures
Preparatory work for reviews/audits including developing a scope of work.
Reviewing available documentation.
Analyze/review audit data and prepare reports for review and presentation to management, providers and departments, making recommendations for improvement
Determine charge corrections and refunds resulting from compliance reviews and ensure they have been completed.
Post-review/audit education/training when applicable.
Performing follow-up reviews when necessary.
Ensuring appropriate work papers, either paper or electronic, are maintained in accordance with regulations/policy
Assist in the development of policies and procedures that establish standards for compliance, as well as preparation of other guidance documents and tools to assist Coper providers and staff in appropriate billing, coding and documentation.
Serve as liaison for questions, concerns, incidents and complaints regarding compliance matters, responding directly to the inquiry and/or consulting or interacting with other team members or departments. Inform Chief Compliance Officer of major findings; based on types of questions/concerns received, recommend remedial correction and prevention actions; identify education/awareness opportunities and guidance topics
Work with all levels within the organization to ensure that internal controls throughout the system provide for accurate, complete and compliance program and processes
Experience Required
3+ years' experience in an academic medical center preferred, with emphasis on provider compliance activities, including but not limited to: auditing, monitoring, investigation and training
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of provider professional fee billing, coding and documentation practices in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Demonstrated expertise in medical terminology.
Demonstrated expertise in healthcare coding (CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10, APC, HCPCS).
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of HIPAA rules and regulations affecting the management of confidential protected health information (PHI).
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of federal and state statutes, laws, rules and regulations affecting billing, coding and documentation practices in support of healthcare services provided to beneficiaries of federally-funded healthcare programs and other third party payers.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the essential elements of an effective compliance program
Working knowledge and understanding of:

The RD evaluates nutrition needs of the patients/residents and plans appropriate intervention based on current medical and nutrition status. Provides nutrition education to patients and residents as health care personnel as conforms with and is accepted by the AND (Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics) standards with constraints of Joint Commission, CMA, and NJ state health regulations.
Every other weekend- Saturday & Sunday. Plus some weekdays. Flexibility 8-4pm or 9-5pm
Responsibilities
Evaluates patient nutrition status for impact on disease process, using current Medical Nutrition therapy.
Develops appropriate care plan to correct nutrition deficits and achieve optimal nutrition state.
Educates patient/significant others for nutrition/dietetic strategy post discharge.
Participates as an; integral health team member through discharge rounds and daily contacts with physicians, nurses and other healthcare providers.
Displays commitment to excellence through patient satisfaction and enhancement of clinical skills.
Successfully completes life-span education as appropriate.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics with RD license required for graduates before 2024
Master's Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics with RD license required for graduates from 2024 onward
Bachelor's/Master's degree qualifying for AND Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics membership and registration
Completion of an approved ASCEND internship
At least one year hospital clinical experience required
Member of AND (Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics)
Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively relate with all members of the healthcare team

The EEG Technician performs routine awake and asleep EEG's, portable EEG's, and long-term monitoring with and without video EEG-examination on both in-patients and out-patients.
Responsibilities:
Test set up utilizing the international 10-20 electrode placement system to include manual measurement, skin prep and electrode application.
Use activating procedures such as hyperventilation, photic stimulation and sleep.
Provide proper knowledge of montage selection based on patient condition.
Provide critical thinking and skill to recognize and correct artifact accordingly.
Successfully trouble-shoot equipment and leads appropriately. Collect information pertinent to the interpretation of the test.
At the completion of all studies, properly remove electrodes, clean patient/equipment, and process documents.

Experience Required
2 - 3 years Accounts Receivable resolution preferred with a strong focus on customer experience
Familiarity with third-party billing processes including CPT/HCPCS and ICD-10 knowledge is desired. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical record review and reimbursement analysis is preferred. Experience may also include appeals processing, denial or rejection analysis and resolution and medical billing guidelines as it relates to the job function.
