Pascagoula Hospital | 1900-0730 Night Shift | Full-Time | 2809 Denny Avenue Pascagoula, Mississippi, 39581 United States The Patient Care Associate provides basic nursing care (i.e. personal and restorative care) to patients according to predefined guidelines, a plan of care established by a Registered Nurse, and under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. The plan of care will utilize the CDC Guidelines for Infection Control as well as the Singing River Health System Departments of Nursing Plan for Provision of Care, Treatment, and Services. Be alert for proper ventilation, temperature, light and noise control. Take TPR, blood pressure, weighing of residents, etc. as directed. Promptly answer call lights and other resident needs. Utilize proper body mechanics when lifting or transporting residents. Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested. Attend in-service education programs in order to meet facility educational requirements. Be familiar with Standard Precautions, Exposure Control Plan, Fire Drill and Evacuation Procedures and know how to use the information.
