JOB SUMMARY:
Assistsnursing staff in providing care for patients in accordance with identified treatment plans.
Measures vital signs patients and monitors the health of patients.
Assists patients with everyday needs.
Communicates with nursing supervisors, nursing staff, and clinical staff regarding patients' treatment and status.
Records treatment activities and patient observations in patient records accurately and timely; completes paperwork requirements as needed in an accurate and timely manner.

Adheres to all policies and procedures regarding patient information protection and HIPPA.

Job Responsibilities
Administers medications and provides residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by supervisors

Summary of Duties of the CertifiedNurseAssistant

Utilizes safe transfer techniques when assisting residents with mobility.
Washes residents' laundry as needed.
Understands and uses Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Standard Precautions, OSHA's Occupational Exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens standard, and follows established infection control procedures, hazardous communication, and other safety rules.
Documents provision of services on Company forms.
Operates designated medical equipment, copy, scan, fax machines, and telephone.
Escorts residents and coordinates internal transportation needs.
Assists residents with personal correspondence/telephone use when requested.
Observes and reports changes in residents' physical condition and cognitive/emotional status to Wellness Director or supervisor, as needed.
Conducts room checks and resident rounds.
Monitors for environmental safety hazards.
Respond to emergencies in a prompt and calm manner; Immediately reports such emergencies to the supervisor.
Uses tactful, diplomatic communication techniques in potentially sensitive or emotionally charged situations.
Follows-up with appropriate staff, residents, or other individuals regarding reported complaints, problems, and concerns.
Non-Essential Functions of the CertifiedNurseAssistant

Full-time Rotating Schedule NIGHTS - 6:00pm-6:00am Week 1: Su, W, Th; Week 2: M, Tu, Fri, Sa

Job Responsibilities
Administers medications and provides residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by supervisors
Works the floor as a CNA as needed
Performs other nursing duties as assigned by nursing management
Creates and maintains an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment
Always exercises courtesy when residents, family members, and visitors are present
Demonstrates pride in Regent Park by keeping areas clean and safe
Respects the privacy and dignity of residents
Job Qualifications
Previous job experience preferred but not required
Must have a current CNA/CMA certification in the State of Kansas
Must have excellent time management skills and be able to work deadlines
Must be able to maintain a courteous, friendly and helpful attitude with residents, visitors, and co-workers
Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, lift and carry up to 50lbs throughout the shift

Active CNA or CMA certification (Kansas)
Current BLS/CPR (or willingness to obtain-we'll help you get it online!)
Reliable transportation
Recent experience in a healthcare setting preferred
