Building on his strengths as a qualified chartered accountant, Adrian leverages these skills in his leadership role in the fields of international aid and development to deliver better results for children and those in need.

Adrian’s credentials in international aid and development are based on over eight years of senior executive experience in Australia and internationally which include roles as Acting CEO, COO and CFO of UNICEF Australia. Adrian has provided steadfast leadership with integrity and honesty through the growth and evolution of UNICEF Australia. He has led the successful implementation of innovative systems across UNICEF Australia that has driven business efficiencies for the organisation.

Originally from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, Adrian is a highly motivated individual, who has strived to develop and consistently build on his experience across a variety of industries and a number of different countries. It is this breadth of experience across different cultural contexts that have allowed Adrian to develop an assured and enabling leadership style that aligns to his sense of purpose and integrity. These qualities ensure Adrian can work and collaborate with people at all levels of an organisation.

Adrian’s commitment to making an impact in breaking the cycle of poverty whilst promoting and protecting the rights of children extends beyond his current work with UNICEF, Adrian is also Treasurer and a Director of the Refugee Council of Australia. He previously served on the board of AMK Cambodia, a leading provider of microfinance and financial services for the poor from 2010 to 2017.
