UC Health is hiring a Full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for Operating Room, for the second shift at West Chester Hospital. The Operating Room Nurse will support West Chester Hospital's Operating Room (OR) and Level III Trauma Center, delivering high-quality care to patients based on assessed needs, established standards of care and according to policy and procedures. The nurse's main duty is as circulators. Scrub is not a requirement. The OR is a 9 room OR. Our highest volume comes from orthopedics and sports medicine. Other procedures include ears, oral, spine, plastic, podiatry, bariatric, robotic, GYN, and urology procedures. There is call and RN's are required to be at the hospital within 30 minutes. UC Health is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the same day surgery for the first shift at West Chester Hospital. The Same Day Surgery Nurse will support West Chester Hospital's surgery center and Level III Trauma Center, delivering high-quality care to patients based on assessed needs, established standards of care and according to policy and procedures. Our OR sees about 25-30 cases a day made up heavily of regular surgery and orthopedic surgery. These nurses perform pre-op care and assessment for all outpatient pre-ops and patients to be admitted. This 28-bed unit works with the patient population admitted from the ER, PACU, and SICU. Registered Nurse (RN-CN1 ONA), Night Shift 7:00p-7:30a Solid Organ Transplant UC Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Solid Organ Transplant for Third Shift 7:00p-7:30a at University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Solid Organ Transplant/Renal is 24 bed unit. (1 bed designated as a pre-op bed for those patients being called in for a transplant) UCMC performs Liver, Kidney and Pancreas transplants. The kidney program has a living donor transplant program. All transplant patients, regardless of when their transplant was performed are admitted to 8CCP. This is due to the special care and education necessary for transplant patients. Nursing care is concentrated on recovery from transplantation, focusing on mobility, monitoring of I & O's, pain management and medication administration and education. Transplant patients are always recovered and monitored in the SICU prior to coming to 8CCP. Transplant patients can also be admitted from TACU, clinic, or directly from home.
