Dover Precision Components is hiring a Quality Manager for our FW Murphy Production Controls brand, located at our Rosenberg, TX facility. WHAT YOU'LL DO
In this role, you will own delivering sustainable performance through an effective Quality Management System (QMS) and continuous improvement goals. You will work cross- functionally to ensure quality in a Lean Manufacturing technical components' environment.
You will supervise a Customer Quality Manager, 3 Quality Technicians, a Quality Engineer, and a Documentation Control Specialist. You will plan and direct activities to develop, apply, sustain, and improve the QMS to ensure external and internal requirements are met.
Specific responsibilities include:
Provide supervision, coaching, training, career progression opportunities, and mentoring for a Quality Team. Hire and supervise employees.
Oversee internal and external quality, customer complaints, and all customer communication related to quality issues.
Lead execution of corporate and specific site quality goals. Promote a proactive Built in Quality (BIQ) approach to quality and partners/collaborates with internal stakeholders to achieve site's performance goals. Manage activities related to the ISO Certification.
Lead and serve as the subject matter expert for advanced problem-solving methodologies. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to modify and continuously improve processes to enhance quality, and stability of processes.
Develop and promote Built in Quality concepts into the quality system using methodologies such as Poke Yoke, Quality Gates, and Upstream Certification process.
Design and implement policies and procedures to ensure that quality standards are met during production.
Ensure testing of processes and products are conducted per documented standards.
Develop training programs and materials and conduct training sessions on quality concepts.
Work closely with Team Leaders and production personnel on all shifts to provide guidance and instruction on proper inspection and reporting procedures.
Confer with customers on changes in quality standards and communicate requirements to internal stakeholders. Establish and use programs to evaluate precision and accuracy of production and testing/measurement equipment.
Develop and devise standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation of materials, in process and finished products. Develop process control methodologies to ensure quality requirements.
Audit and qualify suppliers to ensure compliance with standards. Collaborate with suppliers on problems or necessary corrective actions to be taken. Investigate deviations from standards and completes necessary analysis.
Coordinate government or customer visits for source inspection or quality system audits. Conduct visits to obtain required customer acceptance of products and maintain all associated records and documentation as needed.
Review materials, components or products returned under warranty claims. Analyze reason(s) for failure and advise customers of action to be taken.
Report and monitor Quality performance metrics. Conduct/coordinate analysis to determine failure root cause and ensure necessary actions are taken to improve quality performance metrics.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Bachelor's degree required; preference for Engineering field, other degrees considered depending on work experience.
7+ years' work experience in an engineered product environment with specific experience in product and/or material quality and compliance.
Supervisory experience, to include mentoring, performance reviews, and hiring.
Lean Six Sigma manufacturing experience.
Project Management experience or training.
Experienced in quality audits and working collaboratively with internal and external partners to ensure quality standards are set and achieved.
Excellent problem- solving skills and demonstrated success in root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Strong computer skills, including ERP, MS Office, and data visualization.
Ability to travel (overnight 10-15%) to meet customers, internal partners, and/or attend conferences.

This includes interfacing with Quality and Engineering personnel to analyze and prioritize current and future customer quality requirements to systemically improve our quality systems allowing us to exceed customer expectations.
• Presenting product quality to potential customers; handling/troubleshooting customer complaint activity involving product quality, product liability matters and quality systems; coordinating activity required in customer and third-party audits; and managing all facets of product recall efforts and customer returns.
• Guiding Process Engineering efforts to reduce scrap and rework through process control, utilizing problem solving, statistical analysis, and overall variation reduction initiatives. This also includes providing technical support with respect to Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques to monitor and measure process performance and ensure compliance of quality requirements in relation to customer and company specifications.
• Providing leadership and direction to Metallurgical Personnel on implementing systems and control procedures to assure the quality of our product/processes and on implementing effective corrective actions and technical problem solving to ensure all non-conforming parts and equipment meet customer requirements and industry specifications.
• Directing implementation and oversight of manufacturing and quality systems in compliance with the Aerospace Quality Standards prescribed in AS9100/ISO9002 and NADCAP Accreditation for Special Processes to assure compliance with all customers, corporate, and management system requirements.
• Supervising personnel responsible for systems control and development to establish and improve plant standard procedures, practices, and product quality targets. This entails determining proper solutions to new or existing quality problems, assuring that appropriate timely action is taken to conform to requirements, managing resources (equipment and staffing), and utilizing outside sources when necessary due to time constraints, capability limitations, or costs.

Basic Qualifications:

Overview
The Quality Lab Supervisor is responsible for the execution of the Midland Quality Assurance Program within the Quality Inspection Lab. They are responsible for the gathering and analysis of data within the Quality function in support of manufacturing operation. The Quality Lab Supervisor utilizes quality and continuous improvement tools and methodology to enhance the quality assurance program, solve problems and rectify any issues in the correct way. They provide leadership and direction to the quality inspectors, including but not limited to: workload/assignments, inspection output, scheduling, conflict resolution, skill development, equipment usage, etc. Will be the key person to provide updates to management on Quality Lab performance.
Primary/Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and oversee operation of the Quality Lab
Supervise direct reports to ensure safety, quality delivery and costs metrics are met
Monitor and audit the quality of manufactured and purchased goods
Teach, coach and develop talent within department and organization especially as it relates to quality in support of Midland's products and services
Provide technical assistance as required to Quality Inspectors and others within the organization
Leads and directs inspection of PPAP samples and facilitate the communication between internal and external parties
Interact with the ERP (Oracle) system and manage the material movement on inspected goods
Ensure compliance with all quality regulations, standards and corporate policies including but not limited to AAR M-1003 for assigned department.
Supports Quality Manager in establishing, implementing, and maintaining the quality assurance program
Demonstrate continuous efforts to improve efficiency within Quality Lab while working cooperatives with other departments and teams
Conduct internal audits, including closing out audit findings, creating audits finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventive actions

Preparation of reports through collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendations
Completes all job specific training

JOB SUMMARY:
The Quality NDT Leader is responsible for assuring compliance to plant, corporation, customer, and industry standards of the non-destructive testing methods (including but not limited to: visual - VT, ultrasonic - UT, FPI - PT, X-ray - RT/DR, Crystal Grain Etch - CVM). This position will be responsible for leading audits and driving continuous improvement efforts to improve quality and process controls.
Anticipated Pay Range: $93K-110K per Year. *Pay rates within this range are determined based on various factors including experience, education, certifications, etc.

This position is responsible for leading our Quality Control Analysts Group in order to establish advanced quality controls and to implement continuous improvement standards and procedures for State Bank.
A B.S. or B.A. or equivalent preferred, or experience in lieu of degree; Mortgage Lending, HMDA and Quality Control training or practical experience. Experience in mortgage and commercial lending or related positions required. Consumer, SBA, and Retail banking deposit experience preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for qualified individuals with the experience and qualifications to act as Quality ControlManagers. This role provides daily on-site oversight and direct day-to-day management and supervision of construction activities, subcontractors, quality, and safety. The individual must ensure projects are completed in accordance with contract documents, the period of performance, and within budget.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
In-depth understanding of various construction projects, with an emphasis on facility sustainment, renovation, and modernization (SRM) type projects.
A minimum of 7 years of experience managing construction projects and 3 years of recent experience acting in a
similar capacity.
KNOWLEDGE, CERTIFICATIONS, AND TRAINING:
Demonstrated knowledge of construction means and methods
In-depth knowledge and ability to read prints, plans, schedules, inspection
Expense working on projects for federal agencies is required
Strong familiarity and implementation of USACE EM 385-1-1 and OSHA 1910/1926
Understanding of USACE Construction Quality Management processes and procedures
Required Certifications: USACE CQM and OSHA 30
Preferred Certifications: PMP, DBIA, CCM, AIC, Procore
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quality Control: Implementing quality control requirements, procedures, and documentation utilizing the USACE 30-phases of Construction. Recognize and stop work
that is non-conforming with the project requirements and ensure corrective measures are taken on time. Ensure that contract requirements for project inspections, acceptance, commissioning, record documents, training, etc., are completed.
Take proactive steps and actions to minimize project risks.
Manage and supervise assigned staff.
Provide interim and annual reviews of assigned staff.
Manage and execute single or multiple projects in different phases of construction.
Work with other departments within the company and business units as required.
Perform duties, responsibilities, and assigned tasks with minimal direction or oversight.
