Holaday-Parks' Project Engineers support the successful execution of Design Build and Plan Spec projects from inception to project close out. Project Administrators represent our organization to our customers, other contractors, our employees and our community in a professional manner. They are efficient and highly organized.
Essential Functions:
Maintain Project Records during all phases of work.
Assemble and distribute submittals and O&M's.
Create and maintain RFI, CO, ASI and drawing logs.
Track Daily Reports.
Follow up to ensure RFI's are priced and responded to timely.
Ensure punch list items are addressed.
Estimating Support:
Support estimating efforts as requested by Estimators.
Estimating support may include counting fixtures, obtaining quotes from subcontractors and equipment suppliers, and preparing final bids for submission to the customer.
Field Support:
Project Engineers may be located in the main office or on the job site.
When stationed on the job site, the Project Engineer will be responsible for maintaining drawings by incorporating changes and ensuring the correct information is distributed to the field staff.
Tracking documentation as described above may be performed in the office or on site.
Project Engineers support multiple projects when required.
Career Path:
The Project Engineer position is an entry level position in the Construction Industry. Experienced Project Engineers may have the opportunity to move into Project Manager roles as openings come available.
Qualifications and Education:
The preferred candidate will possess excellent oral and written communication skills, outstanding customer service and extraordinary organizational skills. They will have a sense of responsibility and ownership for the project.
Four years college-level construction management training preferred;
Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel required;

**Qualifications**
- Requires a minimum of five (5+) years of work experience in the civilengineering field and BA/BS degree in related field. Ten (10+) years of experience and MA/MS degree in related field preferred.
- Must have demonstrated mastery of civilengineering concepts, principles, and practices.
- Experience in National Codes and Mechanical Engineering sub-disciplines (including heating, air conditioning, ventilation, plumbing, fuel systems, tanks, pumps, piping, steam, and minor structural, etc.) is required.
- Licensed Professional Engineer or other industry-standard professional license related to position highly desirable.
- Experience with design work for conditions in the D17 AOR (high seismic, high-wind and coastal maritime climate conditions), AutoCAD drafting skills, developing/reviewing technical packages for Design-Build, Design-Bid-Build and performance specifications is highly desirable.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work is primarily sedentary and is performed in a normal office environment. Job Purpose:
This position is located in Anchorage and may require occasional travel to the North Slope. Relocation assistance to Alaska is not provided.
In this role, the Project Engineer will interact with Worley's Fabrication and/or Construction crews, clients, and project management team to support the planning and execution of our projects. The role with also interface and collaborate on projects with our Engineering partner on EPC projects.

Ensure all project materials have been procured and are staged for installation. Work with the procurement department to obtain any short materials
Create field work packages for the craft foremen to execute the work from
Produce hydrotest plans, lift plans, and other technical documents as necessary
Assemble system completion packages and facilitate project turnover
Estimate change scope and assemble change notices for submission to the client
Confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems, produce and submit RFIs as required
Coordinate and/or attend design, construction, start-up, commissioning and qualification meetings
Submit weekly and daily reports to client, interfacing with craft superintendents and foremen on the report contents
Maintain current revision drawing packages, and redline drawings, as applicable
Strong computer skills, including experience with estimating software, document management, and field sketching
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong planning and organizational skills
Proven ability to plan, coordinate and execute high priority jobs in a timely manner that involve multiple crafts (drillsite operation, general maintenance, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, electrical, etc.)
Ability and knowledge to interpret civil, structural, and piping design drawings, including P&IDs, as well as electrical diagrams
Knowledge of technical and safety policies, procedures and standards applicable to industrial construction, including welding.

Job Title: Project CivilEngineer ***Work Location: Anchorage, AK (JBER)*** Salary: Based on experience and will be discussed with manager in interview REQUIREMENT- Must be a US Citizen and must pass a federal background review and drug screen Duties/Responsibilities:
Serves as technical expert and advisor for control of civil and structural systems and related steel and welding features for federal construction projects.
Performs advisory, consulting and review duties involving civil / structural systems problems or non-compliance.
Review contract documents, including plans and specifications, during design for constructability, non-compliance, issue identification and contract clarity.
Participates in all phases of the contract modification process. Assists in preparation of scopes of work for RFP's, assists in preparation of government estimates, assists with review of contractor's proposals, and prepares contract modification documentation.
Will assist with steel and welding inspections, quality assurance, contract administration and providing technical expertise.
Documents reviews and analyzes contractor plans and technical submittals for approval action, including progress schedules, environmental, safety and quality control programs, certifications and shop drawings. Provides comments.
Prepares correspondence regarding Contractor performance, Requests for Equitable Adjustments (REAs), Requests for Information (RFIs) and other technical issues
Prepares both partial and final payment estimates including the measurement and computation of pay item quantities, verification of materials on hand, and percentage complete of lump sum items.
Demonstrated steel and steel connection experience.
Experience in weld design and compliance review in reviewing plans, submittals, RFIs and field inspections.
Non-destructive inspection (NDI) experience.
AISC certification.
Monitors and documents scheduled progress of all construction activities and phases of construction and advises the Resident Engineer, COR, and project team of potential slippage or delay.
Participates and executes RFI and Submittal reviews, including coordination with the designers, RE, and technical experts and executes responses to the contractor.
Review and provide technical assistance with HEMP Shielding, Radio Frequency (RF) Shield and ICD 705 construction requirements. Document review and interface with Designer of Record for technical changes or questions.
Logs and maintains data as necessary to assist with project management and decision making.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably in CivilEngineering
Current Professional Engineer license within the State of Alaska
Minimum of 10 years' experience as structural engineer on large complex multimillion dollar federal construction projects, preferably USACE and/or Department of Defense
Non-destructive inspection (NDI) experience.
AISC certification.
Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) Shield and ICD 705 construction requirements.
Knowledge of and experience with High Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) design and construction requirements preferred.
