The testimony below identifies the greatest issue with encouraging our young people to enter into technical fields is that we have failed to inspire them. The last great inspiration driving the greatest growth in STEM enrollment was when President Kennedy announced that we were going to the moon in the next decade. This challenge made enrollment in the technical fields skyrocket and also drove economic growth that has benefited most industries and improved our lives. The return on investment of the space program is probably the largest of any venture this nation has funded in the 20th century. It defined our nation for the last 50 years

Gregg Bell is a Chief Operating Officer at Clear Align and is based in Nashua, New Hampshire. He has worked as President, Electro-Optical Systems at L3 Technologies, Inc.; Site Director/Product Management at L3 Technologies, Inc.; and Director, Missile Programs at Northrop Grumman. Gregg attended 5280 Solutions between 2000 and 2000, Gwynn Park HS between 1977 and 1980, and Loyola University Maryland between 1980 and 1984.

Justin C Wexler is a Chief Financial Officer at Clear Align. He has worked as VP/CFO at L3 Technologies, Inc.. Justin attended Penn State University and DE LA SALLE UNIVERSITY.

Richard Wolfe is a Chief Optical Designer at Clear Align and is based in 120 Derry Road, Hudson, New Hampshire. He has worked as Senior Optical Engineer at Janos Technology. Richard studied at NYU Tandon School of Engineering between 1971 and 1975 and Brooklyn Technical High School between 1967 and 1971.
