Founded in 1967, Crafts of Clinton County, Inc. began providing services to persons with developmental and physical disabilities.
In the 1970’s a board of directors was formed along with an Adult training Facility in the lower level of the existing Small Business Development Center at LHU on Susquehanna Avenue in Lock Haven.
In the later 1980’s, the Program expanded to include more academics and community inclusion.
In 1994 the Community Options Program was initiated whereby the people employed their skills in everyday life.
In 1997 the Community Options Program became a full time off-site program.
In 2005, Crafts relocated to the present location at 10 North Washington Street in Lock Haven.
Crafts celebrated their 40th anniversary in September of 2007 where a new name was introduced, Clinton County Community Connections, Inc.
The Cafe operations was also created in early 2012 and is housed in The STEP Community Center.
In 2012 CCCC added Lifesharing as a service.
In 2018 CCCC began the Community Participation Support Program to provide opportunities and support for community inclusion and building interest in developing skills and potential for competitive integreated employment.
