Establish departmental goals, policies, and performance metrics to maintain consistency, accuracy, and accountability. Partner with executive leadership on business development pursuits, go/no-go decisions, and market positioning. Direct the preparation of budgets, conceptual estimates, and GMP proposals across multiple delivery methods (CMAR, Design-Build, and Design-Bid-Build). Ensure constructability reviews, logistics planning, phasing, and schedule input are completed to the highest standards. Guide value engineering efforts to deliver cost-effective solutions that meet client goals. Provide executive oversight to the Procurement Manager on subcontractor selection, bid packaging, and buyout strategies. Establish procurement policies that ensure competitive pricing, risk mitigation, and inclusion of diverse trade partners. Oversee early procurement planning to ensure long-lead items and critical trades are secured before project kickoff. Serve as a primary client-facing executive during preconstruction phases, building trust and ensuring alignment of expectations. Collaborate with design consultants, owners, and internal operations teams to drive solutions during design development. Represent CMC in interviews, presentations, and industry forums to enhance the firms reputation. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (Masters degree preferred). Minimum 15+ years of progressive experience in estimating, preconstruction, or project management. Prior executive or senior leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams in commercial construction. Proven expertise in preconstruction planning, estimating software, and procurement processes. Strong communication, negotiation, and client-relations skills. Experience with CMAR and Design-Build project delivery. Proficiency with preconstruction platforms such as BuildingConnected. Certifications such as LEED AP, DBIA, or CCM are a plus.

Key indicators include On-Time Leave by 4:30 AM, high First-Pass Yield (FPY) performance in palletizing, loading, and delivery, 100% completion of service parts pulls, and on-time inventory accuracy for stock materials and work in progress (WIP). Success also includes maintaining zero recordable injuries or OSHA violations and ensuring 100% PPE compliance and safety training participation. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations Leadership Oversee all inbound and outbound warehouse functions, including receiving, palletizing, slotting, and service materials handling. Manage the Receiving team to achieve 100% accuracy on incoming shipments and ensure all orders are checked, verified, and updated in Dynamics CRM Maintain daily performance standards for same-day and accurate slotting of incoming parts, hardware, and full cabinets. Ensure all daily and end-of-day warehouse checklists are completed and signed off. Conduct full warehouse audits and ensure inventory aligns with CRM data prior to month-end close. Delivery & Logistics Oversight Lead the Delivery team to achieve on-time, complete, and accurate deliveries. Ensure trucks are properly loaded, inspected, and equipped with required tools and PPE prior to departure. Monitor delivery performance using KPIs such as % On-Time, First Pass Yield and Time to Load Oversee routing, scheduling, and coordination of deliveries through Dynamics Review and act on safety alerts and driver scorecards in the fleet management system People Leadership & Development Hire, train, and coach frontline staff across Receiving, Service, and Delivery functions. Provide daily direction and guidance to warehouse and delivery team members, ensuring clarity of tasks and expectations. Conduct performance reviews and hold teams accountable for performance metric achievement. Ensure all team members adhere to SOPs, safety guidelines, and performance expectations. Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, continuous improvement, and pride in performance. Quality, Safety & Compliance Enforce quality standards to meet builder specifications and minimize escaped defects. Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce damages and defects. Maintain high standards of organization, cleanliness, and 5S compliance across all warehouse areas. Ensure full compliance with OSHA, PPE, and all company safety policies. Conduct safety audits, toolbox talks, and monthly trainings to maintain a culture of safety. Participate in safety meetings and incident investigations.
