What you'll do…
Support our production teams by maintaining and repairing all production lines, troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment.
Install, repair, rebuild and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment used in production, packaging, and all other plant areas.
Be involved in all aspects of equipment from installation to rebuilding, fitting, and aligning equipment to meet quality and efficiency standards.
Demonstrate strong electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills on controls such as, PLC's, VFD's, servos, robotics, and programmable devices.

Job Summary
Immediate opening for forklift mechanic in our maintenance department to work second shift hours. Must be available to overtime and weekend shifts as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
Completing repairs and performing preventative maintenance on approximately a 100-vehicle fleet, including battery changing and charging equipment. Position is responsible for maintaining all records and files associates with repairs, PM work and parts ordering and inventory. Position works closely with packaging maintenance and warehouse departments regarding repairs, scheduling and equipment needs. Will also assist with long range planning and budgeting and will deal directly with vendors and service providers as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicant must be team oriented with excellent problem solving and communication skills. Must feel comfortable using a computer for data entry. Ideal candidate has a minimum 3 years' experience maintaining gas and battery powered forklifts, scissor lifts, Mark lifts and floor scrubbers/sweepers. Welding/fabricating experience required. Pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical experience preferred.
