Michael Ellison is the Co-Founder & CEO of CodePath. Previously, Michael was the Founding Board Member of the Women Who Code. Michael holds a degree in Economics, Management, Philosophy, & Mathematics from Boston University.

CodePath.org is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit transforming computer science education for underrepresented minorities at over 50 colleges and universities, doubling in size every semester.

Close to 80% of minorities who start a CS degree will leave CS before graduating. For those that do graduate, most will have skill gaps making them likely to leave software engineering roles or spend their careers underestimated and underemployed. By working closely with major technology companies like Cognizant, Facebook, Microsoft, and Walmart, CodePath.org is changing CS programs nationwide to increase diversity in tech using a system-wide solution.
