Gregory Leibon's LinkedIn

Greg is the CTO and co-founder of Coherent Path. Utilizing his experience with cutting edge geometric orienteering and network dynamics theory, he created Coherent Path’s new tools for understanding the customer journey. With his practical experience in the design of products that solve industrial problems on unwieldy data, Greg is revolutionizing the way organizations leverage big data. Greg is ruthlessly focused on “the objective function” for each business problem he faces, constantly asking whether his models can show demonstrable ROI and can be proven through A/B testing. Before founding Coherent Path, Greg spent the previous five years as the Chief Mathematician at Memento and then at Fidelity National Information Services (NYSE:FIS) in the Risk, Fraud, and Compliance business unit. One of the most important aspects of Greg’s work was to fight fraud on the basis of “expected loss.” Some fraud is too expensive to investigate and should be viewed as a cost of doing business. Greg’s fraud models were keenly focused on the cost benefit analysis of fraud detection. Greg earned his PhD from UCSD.
