Summary: Performs a variety of semiskilled manual tasks in construction, maintenance, and repair activities; and does related work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1.Has practical knowledge of Regulatory Compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), CSE, Inc. Rules and Regulations and Site-Specific Rules and Regulations.
a.Understands OSHA standards relating to Steel Erection; understands and complies with CSE, Inc. Safety Program, rules, regulations and updates.
b.Works within AISC Certification Procedures.
2.Follows directions and assumes responsibility of job essentials by:
a.Assists in building, construction, maintenance, and repair operations using various materials, equipment, and hand, pneumatic, and power tools in the performance of semiskilled manual tasks.
b.Cleans and sharpens tools; makes minor repairs and adjustments to power driven equipment; sweeps and cleans, etc.
c.Picks up and delivers materials and helps make measurements.
d.Works as directed.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid driver's license.

+ Clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, clean up rubble and debris and remove waste materials.
+ Installation of erosion and sediment controls (i.e. silt fence, super silt fence, gutter buddies, etc.).
+ Must be willing to perform manual labor related tasks to support projects.
+ Must wear safety toe boots, long pants and four-inch sleeves on shirts. PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, class 3 vests and gloves) is required and will be provided.
+ Work on a variety of tasks within any given day.
