(WJE) is seeking an enthusiastic and creative individual for an in-person spring 2026 internship (January - May) with our Communications and Marketing team at our corporate headquarters in suburban Chicago, Illinois. All candidates must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our in-house communications professionals, gaining valuable, hands-on experience in content creation, branding, messaging, and event management within a professional services setting.

Intern Responsibilities:
Support the planning and delivery of large-scale organizational events and initiatives. Gain experience in event coordination, communication and engagement strategies, branding, creative design, and multimedia production. On-site support may be required.
Support the creation and management of marketing and proposal materials
Write content for the company's website, intranet, and social media platforms
Assist in the organization of shared information and photo resources
Assist in the development of video content for internal/external use
Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings, etc.)
Qualifications WJE looks for in an Intern:
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field

WJE offers a robust, total compensation structure, where the hourly rate is just one component of an employee's annual earnings. Additionally, employees may be eligible to receive overtime and variable compensation based on personal and company performance, often resulting in above-market annual earnings. Actual hourly rate will be based on several factors including consideration for a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role while remaining mindful of our commitment to internal equity.
