Responsibilities:
After completing training on trust & estates, probate, and estate settlement, a Trust & Estates Case Manager will be responsible for:
Reviewing, interpreting, and editing legal documents, including wills, trusts, waivers, receipts, releases, inventories, and accountings, ensuring accuracy before submission to the bequest attorney or client.
Communicating directly with financial institutions, estate and trust fiduciaries, and/or their legal representatives to facilitate the efficient collection of charitable requests.
Monitoring the progress of estate and trust administration to ensure the timely receipt of bequests.
Collaborating with bequest attorneys, team members, and clients to support efficient estate administration.
Drafting and sending correspondence, such as confirmation letters to fiduciaries upon receipt of charitable bequests.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in the bequest database, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and properly recorded.
Documenting notifications, correspondence, and follow-up actions in the database for internal and client review.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent required

Position Summary:
The Client Advocate will serve as the first and main point of contact for our disabled veteran clients and their families in the Veterans Practice Group. We are seeking a Claims Advocate / Paralegal to join our growing Veterans Law practice. In this task-oriented and independent role, you will support case development by gathering information, drafting legal documents, conducting research, and preparing assessments. Success is measured by timeline, accurate task completion, and continuous development of knowledge in the practice area.
Responsibilities:
Conduct research, review client files, and prepare assessments as directed concerning theories, strategy, and/or arguments in support of Agency clients' cases
Draft development, claims, arguments, appeals, and motions for clients' cases
Prioritize the completion of case core work and assignments, meet internal deadlines as set by Senior Claims Advocates, Lead Advocates, and management, and ensure that assignments are completed to meet external (i.e., VA) deadline
Conduct interviews and promptly draft corresponding declarations with clients and third parties (e.g., client family members, friends, employers) in support of their claims
Update CCK's case management program files with all pertinent correspondence and information needed for reporting
Develop an understanding of pertinent case law, etc. for application in draft claims, arguments, and appeals
Attend training sessions
Coordinate with other Claims Advocates, Client Advocates, Senior Claims Advocates, and Lead Advocates as necessary to accomplish workload objectives
Complete all additional training as assigned by your supervisor
Assist team with the training of new Claims Advocates and Client Advocates as needed
Requirements
High School degree required; Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field preferred
2+ years of working experience or training preferred
Fluency in English; Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Demonstrated leadership skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate responsibly
Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Proficiency with standard office equipment and software· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat
Ability to successfully obtain and maintain a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card and required VA network access, which includes a government background check, is required for this position.
Compensation & Benefits:
Starting Salary: $43,775 per year. Relevant VA law experience (2+ years) may increase starting salary.

Work Schedule: This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. You may choose one of the following shifts: 8:00-4:30 pm ET or 8:30 - 5:00 pm ET with a 30-minute lunch period.
This role is available onsite at our Providence, RI Headquarters or remotely in the following states: CO, CT, FL, GA, MA, NJ, RI, SC, TX, UT; Rhode Island employees may choose a hybrid schedule.
Remote employees must maintain a professional workspace and reliable internet (minimum 30 Mbps upload speed)

Job Description
Under the direction of the Mental Health and Disabilities Supervisor, the Early Childhood Clinician will be part of the Support Team (Mental Health and Disabilities) in this important role that is responsible for responding to and managing the mental health needs of clients in our early childhood programs. The Support Team also helps to advocate for, and secure services required for children with suspected or identified disabilities.
Essential Functions:
Provides comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of children participating in the Preschool/Head Start/Early Head Start program.
Through classroom observation, assess preschool children who have been referred for mental health support.
Supports classroom teaching staff with implementing strategies to more effectively serve the children referred for mental health services.
Provides therapeutic services to children participating in our early childhood programs including the Kids Connect program. Complete intake and enrollment for children participating in our early childhood programs including the Kids Connect program.
Coordinates and collaborate with providers in other service systems including DCYF, legal, judicial, medical, educational, human services, etc.
Provides a minimum of one hour per week of clinical supervision to assigned teaching team members in Kids Connect classrooms.
In collaboration with the center's Child Development Supervisor and classroom teacher, completes annual performance evaluations on assigned teaching team members.
Maintains accurate client records and complete all necessary documentation within established program time frames; this includes timely insurance authorizations as necessary, maintenance of current information regarding insurance eligibility, Kids Connect intake documentation and Therapeutic Integration Plans.
Maintains assigned productivity standards.
Constructively utilize formal and peer supervision to evaluate and improve effectiveness in providing services to clients. This includes active participation in weekly team meetings and the peer review process.
Identifies training needs and actively participates in training programs. Assume additional responsibilities for professional development by reviewing appropriate literature and attending relevant conferences and workshops (including Children's Friend's universal training program).
Interact effectively and respectfully with others and particularly with individuals whose backgrounds and life experiences are different from one's own.

Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited school.
Must be license eligible or pursuing licensure.
