The Clinician provides clinical services within their assigned group home working with youth ranging in age from 0 - 21 years old that are referred by the Department of Children and Families (DCF). The Clinician works within the agency's team model, establishing open communication and support within the program. They may coordinate and complete intakes and coordinate clinical treatment within the program. The clinician will provide individual therapy and group work to the youth in the program Responsibilities: They support and implement the philosophical, clinical, and programmatic goals of the agency. Develop a discharge plan with youth and their family that includes recommendations for further services. CHD's Juvenile Justice Program has an immediate need for a Master's level licensed or license eligible clinician to work with male youth in our Secure Residential Treatment (SRT) campus in Springfield, MA, a Department of Youth Services (DYS) secure facility. Center for Human Development, (CHD), is currently looking for a 2nd Shift Co-Response Crisis Clinician (Master's Level, Licensed or Licensed Eligible) to join our team. The Co-Response Clinician is a member of the CHD Mobile Crisis Team and regionally embedded within Holyoke, MA Police Departments.   YOUR ROLE AS CO-RESPONSE CRISIS CLINICIAN: You will support Police Departments' speedy and efficient response to behavioral health calls and follow-ups. The Clinician provides services as a member of both the CHD Adult Mobile Crisis Intervention (AMCI) and Youth Mobile Crisis Intervention (YMCI) programs, and the conjoined CBHC Outpatient Clinic and Crisis Stabilization Programs. Co-response clinicians will provide crisis triage, evaluations, disposition recommendations, follow up interventions, stabilization planning, and referral planning for immediate resources. Clinicians will assess needs, determine least restrictive level of care, and arrange treatment transition and engagement.  They will know and be able to recommend and/or utilize the breadth of internal agency and external community resources in intervention planning. Evaluations will occur in the communities served and expected to be in a wide variety of settings. The clinician will have space in the Police Departments to conduct evaluations, team-build with PD staff, and to be available as quickly as possible to support PD. Requirements: Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work or related field.  LCSW, LICSW or LMHC license is required.
