The Senior Regional Director of Operations (SRDO) is a strategic member of the Community Veterinary Partners' leadership team. The SRDO is responsible for leading operational performance across a defined region of veterinary hospitals. This role ensures delivery of exceptional medical care, client service, and financial results through strategic leadership, operational excellence, and partnership with hospital leadership teams. The Sr. DOO drives growth, ensures compliance with clinical and operational standards, and fosters a culture that supports employee engagement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Quality of Care
Ensure each Regional Director or Regional Manager leads hospitals to a high level of customer service to our clients and pets.
Ensure all CVP medical and non-medical standards are upheld; works with the Medical and Operational Advisory Boards to improve upon those falling short.
Ensure the safety of pets, clients and team members and the maintenance of clean, safe and organized hospitals.
Collaborate closely with Medical Directors and Clinical Leadership to uphold standards of care.
Ensure compliance with medical protocols, safety standards, controlled substances regulations, and AAHA/AVMA guidelines.
Monitor and act on client satisfaction metrics (NPS, online reviews, complaints).
Drive consistent client service standards across hospitals.
Ensure all regional leaders are monitoring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including pharmacy, OSHA, and labor laws.
Support mitigation of operational risks.
Operational Leadership & Execution
Provide strategic and tactical leadership for 30+ veterinary hospitals within the region.
Oversee and lead company-wide initiatives, SOPs, and clinical standards across all practices.
Monitor key operational metrics i.e. revenue, EBITDA, labor efficiency, DVM productivity, client satisfaction, and adjust strategies to achieve goals.
Develop and execute regional business plans, growth strategies, and forecasting.
Own P&L performance for all hospitals within the region.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
Partner with hospital leadership to optimize pricing, cost management, scheduling efficiency, and service mix.
Support revenue growth through medical service expansion, client experience optimization, and DVM alignment.
Own P&L performance for all hospitals within the region.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Regional Directors and Regional Managers.
Build strong partnerships with leadership and Lead Veterinarians to support medical quality and team culture.
Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retention of regional leaders and hospital staff.
Facilitate regional leadership development programs and succession planning.
P&L Responsibility
Strategic decision-making: Making high-level decisions that impact the company's overall financial health and future. Revenue schedule performance using portfolio management across multiple regional areas. Strategic revenue optimization: Developing and executing strategies to increase revenue streams.
Leadership: Guiding teams to align with and achieve P&L goals through strong communication and motivation.
Cross-functional collaboration: Working across departments to implement initiatives that improve the P&L, such as product launches or process improvements.
Risk management: Identifying and mitigating financial risks in a dynamic market.
Market and trend anticipation: Anticipating future market trends and proactively adjusting the P&L strategy.
Integration & Growth
Support onboarding and integration of newly acquired hospitals.
Assess and improve operational infrastructure, technology adoption, and workflow efficiency.
Identify opportunities for facility improvements, service line expansion, or strategic partnerships.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Regional Manager of Operations is responsible for managing all hospital team members and directly supervisors' hospital Practice Managers and Office Managers.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Veterinary Science, or related field.
8+ years of multi-site operational leadership experience (veterinary, medical, dental, or similar healthcare preferred).
Proven experience leading leaders.
Strong understanding of financial statements and drivers of practice performance.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Preferred
Experience in veterinary operations at a senior/regional level.
Master's degree (MBA, MHA, MVPM)
Knowledge of practice management systems.
Experience leading change during rapid growth or acquisition integration.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Certification in Veterinary Practice Management is preferred.

The Radiology department is seeking a remote Board Certified/Fellowship trained Evening Neuroradiologists to join our team. You will read 100% Neuroradiology.

We are a Level One Trauma Center and Brooklyn's first fully accredited Cancer Center treating patients of all ages.
We perform a high volume of imaging for our busy spine services and otolaryngology practices affiliated with the hospital and for other groups seeking high-level imaging services in the borough.
In addition to its hospital-based practice, the Radiology department has 2 outpatient imaging centers and a third under construction. We have state-of-the-art imaging equipment and post-processing technology with integrated PACS and Voice Recognition and remote access via VPN for all radiologists.
In this role, you will:
Provide accurate, timely, and high-quality diagnostic reports during evening shifts (typically 4pm-12am Mon-Fri and weekend coverage).
Participate in emergency and trauma imaging interpretation, supporting the hospital's Level One Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center.
Collaborate with clinical teams (neurology, neurosurgery, ENT, spine services) to provide consultative expertise on imaging findings.
Participate in resident teaching and training, providing feedback and educational support as part of the department's academic mission.

The Regional Manager of Operations (RMO) provides direct operational support to a group of veterinary hospitals within a defined region. This role focuses on driving daily operational consistency, supporting Practice Managers, reinforcing medical and service standards, and helping hospitals achieve financial and performance targets. The Regional Manager is a hands-on operational partner who works closely with both Practice Managers and Office Managers to ensure exceptional patient care, client experience, and team engagement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Quality of Care
Ensure each Practice Manager leads hospitals to a high level of customer service to our clients and pets.
Ensure all CVP medical and non-medical standards are upheld; works with the Medical and Operational Advisory Boards to improve upon those falling short.
Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures with all local, state and federal laws.
Ensure the safety of pets, clients and team members and the maintenance of clean, safe and organized hospitals.
Monitor client feedback, NPS, online reviews, and service metrics to drive improvement.
Conduct regular practice assessments and support corrective action plans.
Maintain controls for inventory, controlled drugs, and medical record documentation.
Help hospitals implement service standards and resolve escalated client concerns.
Promote consistent, high-quality client experience across all locations.
Operational Leadership & Execution
Provide operational support for 5-12 veterinary hospitals, depending on size and complexity.
Conduct regular hospital visits to assess operations, workflows, staffing, safety, and client service.
Assist Practice Managers in implementing company SOPs, policies, and quality standards.
Troubleshoot operational challenges and support day-to-day decision-making.
Manage P&L performance for all hospitals in the region.
Ensure consistent execution of scheduling, inventory management, and front desk protocols.
Review weekly and monthly operational KPIs and financial reports with hospital leaders.
Help Practice Managers manage labor efficiency, cost controls, and productivity targets.
Support execution of strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth and operational efficiency.
Identify performance gaps and assist in developing improvement plans.
Coach, mentor, and support Practice Managers to strengthen leadership and operational skills.
Partner with Medical Directors to foster positive hospital culture and alignment.
Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of key hospital roles.
Support employee engagement efforts and help address workplace challenges or conflicts.
P&L Responsibility
Forecasting: Using financial data to predict future outcomes, such as revenue and expenses.
Financial analysis: Going beyond basic data to interpret performance, identify anomalies, and understand what is driving profitability.
Cost control: Identifying and implementing strategies to manage and reduce costs.
Business planning: Developing plans that align financial goals with operational strategies.
Software proficiency: Using tools like Excel, and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle to manage and analyze data.
Integration & Growth
Support integration activities for newly acquired hospitals, ensuring smooth transitions.
Assist with rollout of new systems, technology platforms, or programs.
Provide feedback to leadership on regional needs, challenges, and resource requirements.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Regional Manager of Operations is responsible for managing all hospital team members and directly supervisors' hospital Practice Managers and Office Managers.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in business, Healthcare Administration, Veterinary Management, or related field
(or equivalent experience in multi-site operations).
3+ years of management or multi-site operations experience, preferably in veterinary, medical, pet services, or similar service industry.
Strong understanding of customer service, staff management, scheduling, and workflow operations.
Ability to analyze data, understand KPIs, and manage performance plans.
Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred
Veterinary or animal health industry experience.
Knowledge of veterinary practice management software.
Experience in a fast-paced, growing multi-location business environment.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Certification in Veterinary Practice Management is preferred.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to travel regularly to hospitals (50-70%).
May be required to participate in operational meetings hosted by CVP with the potential to attend off-site conferences, seminars, and workshops.
