**Qualifications:**

+ 1-2 years housekeeping or cleaning service experience preferred

Purpose Statement
The full-time position is scheduled for Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM.

The Quality Technician Role
The Quality Technician will be responsible for supporting the Spindrift quality program across Spindrift's beverage portfolio, assist with maintenance of the retain library, assistance with recruiting and training internal sensory panelists, assist with collecting, synthesizing and archiving data as it relates to quality initiatives. Collaborating with various teams within operations on the following activities:
Finished product releases as needed, including review of finished micro reports and sensory evaluations
Production holds as needed, including performing sensory evaluations on finished product and communicating results to relevant parties
Assist with qualification of new suppliers, including performing required sensory evaluation of raw materials to determine acceptability for use
Data entry and approval for specified raw materials into quality management system

Previous food safety experience, with experience in HACCP, GMP, USDA, or FDA preferred.

The Quality Technician Role

Summary
The Quality Technician is responsible for helping to maintain quality standards of produced parts while adhering to the company policies and procedures.
Job Description
Regular part inspections on the floor and in the laboratories
Utilizing various gages and measurement techniques to verify dimensions of production parts
Operate computerized gauging in quality labs
Inspection and disposition of gages
Complete weekly LPAs
NCM inventory and organization
Meet time and schedule standards assigned for work
Identify and record any problems relating to product, process, and quality system
Provide input on improving operation efficiencies
Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
Operate machines in accordance with process sheets and any other required paperwork (i.e. drawings, specifications, etc.)

Key Responsibilities
Inspects new products and changes to existing products and conducts tests to assure compliance with requirements.
Dimensions parts for compliance to blueprints and monitors, inspects, and audits production parts and assemblies as required.
Inspects stock as related to customer complaints. Identifies problems related to products, conducts and documents testing results as specified by the Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure specifications and requirements can be met.
Documents and communicates with supply chain, production, and management on in-process and/or incoming rejections for corrective actions of return product or unacceptable parts and products.
Conducts site audits of suppliers' processes and production to assure they are in compliance.
Conducts test runs and monitors and follows up with QA management on quality documentation and necessary corrective actions to ensure the purchase of quality products.
Works with Quality Assurance Engineer on new product testing or changes to existing product evaluations.
Prepares and submits weekly activities report to Quality Assurance Manager/ Quality Engineer.
Conducts incoming material and product audits based on established specifications.
Selects products for tests at specified stages within the production process, tests products for a variety of qualities, such as dimensions and performance criteria and documents findings.
Conducts cycle and performance tests on components parts and assemblies.
Records test data, applying statistical process evaluation techniques where appropriate.
Coordinates incoming documentation for returned goods due to customer complaints as required. Audits returned parts and recommends disposition based on specifications. Reports all rejections to Quality Assurance Engineer as required.
Remains current on quality initiative programs and equipment.
Requirements:
High School Diploma preferred. 1+ years' experience in Quality Assurance/Control preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong interest in product fit, finish, and quality
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Comfortable in warehouse environments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable using computers.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English for effective cross-functional collaboration.
Additional Skills:
Forklift operator certification is a plus but not required.
Comfortable working with precision measuring tools such as calipers and measuring scales.
Able to take product photography to clearly document the story being told and the issue being defined.
