Job Description
Premier Outdoor Installations is seeking motivated Construction Laborers to join our team. This hands-on role involves the installation of commercial playgrounds and shade structures for schools, parks, and community spaces. Compensation:
$15 - $18 hourly
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of playground sites, including excavation, grading, and drainage
Safely and efficiently assemble, install, and anchor playground structures, swings, slides, and shade systems
Operate construction tools and equipment (drills, saws, compactors, etc.) in a safe and effective manner
Collaborate with project managers, designers, and crew members to ensure quality and timely completion of projects
Unload, organize, and stage all building materials and tools for accessibility
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite, including proper disposal of materials and debris
Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site
Support tradespeople and equipment operators as needed to complete additional project tasks
Qualifications:
Construction or related experience preferred (willing to train motivated candidates)
Ability to read and follow blueprints, plans, and specifications is a plus
Comfortable operating construction equipment and power tools
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
High school diploma or GED preferred
Must have good balance, coordination, and physical strength to perform labor tasks

Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be processed, moved, gathered, or distributed.
Conveys materials and items from receiving (dock area) or productions areas to the production floor, storage or to other designated areas.
Sorts and places materials or items in baskets, on pallets, racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code or any other method identified by management.
Assembles customer orders from production floor or storage areas and places orders on pallets, or buggies, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
Marks materials with identifying information
Opens bales, crates, and other containers.

Responsible for the quality of work performed at specific work station.
Assist with the maintenance and cleanliness of the equipment, production floor, breakroom and restroom in production areas.
Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
KNOWLEDGE and Ability:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, material safety data sheets, operating and maintenance instructions, company handbook, and procedure manuals.

Under general supervision, work with and provide direction to a crew engaged in the repair and maintenance of the City's water and sewer system.

Position Responsibilities
Support project teams with material handling, including unloading, distributing, and staging materials on site
Assist with site preparation and clean-up, ensuring a safe and organized work environment
Perform basic tasks such as trenching, pulling wire, conduit support, equipment setup, and tool handling under the direction of skilled tradespeople
Collaborate with electricians, plumbers, and mechanical teams to provide general labor support across trades
Follow safety standards and protocols to maintain a safe worksite for everyone
Learn and apply basic construction techniques to prepare for growth opportunities within the trades
Support project documentation needs such as labeling, inventory tracking, and jobsite reporting
