WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR The Laborer will be using hands tools such as shovels to assist the operator in safely excavating or placing units. They will assist the operator using audible/hand signals to help them from damaging utilities etc. Daily work will involve traveling to different job site locations, survey, plan and execute placing client facilities. A laborer will provide physical support and assistance as part of the crew or independently to complete project related tasks. WHAT YOU GET TO DO Excavates work area using hand tools. Analyze job locations for utility lines, permitting, and traffic control to complete construction activities without quality defects, safety incidents or any type of property damage. Installs fiber/cable/duct underground and in trench. Follows direction of crew Foreman with task assigned. Perform service, safety checks, check oil and fluids, and minor repairs on equipment. Ensures all work is performed to quality standard while always complying with proper safety standards/procedures and work practices/policies & procedures according to EPC and OSHA/ANSI standards.
