Responsibilities The duties performed by Culinary Specialists include: Preparing menus and ordering the quantities and types of food items necessary to prepare meals. Operating kitchen and dining facilities. Maintaining subsistence inventories and financial records. Serving as personal food service specialists in commanding officers and admirals messes. Operating and managing shipboard living quarters and shore-based hotel-type quarters. Serving as a flight attendant aircrewman. Essential Functions: Coordinate with the service team to prioritize boat movements in preparation for service repairs and with the sales team for display or customer delivery needs. Safely transport boats throughout the lot using tractors, trucks, or other equipment. Perform boat movements as needed, including launching, retrieving, staging, or assisting with lake tests when applicable. Transport boats to and from customer locations and trailer them as needed. Conduct regular inspections across all dealership areas, including lot spaces and, where applicable, display or service docks. Ensure all boats are securely parked or docked, properly covered, and safely positioned. Confirm that plugs are removed as appropriate and verify the correct placement and tension of docking lines and fender bumpers when applicable. Report any newly dropped-off boats to the Service Admin, ensuring each boat is tagged with the repair order (RO) and customer name. Maintain clean and organized lot, showroom, and service areas, free of trash, dirt, leaves, and debris. Provide support to technicians and sales team members as directed, including retrieving tools, organizing workspaces, preparing boats, and assisting with basic tasks to streamline operations. Conduct daily equipment inspections, schedule routine maintenance, and promptly report any malfunctions, safety hazards, or operational issues to management. Monitor and uphold safety protocols to protect personnel, customers, and property. Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting visitors, providing guidance, and addressing any concerns. Collaborate effectively with the service, sales, and operations teams to support shared dealership goals. Assist with occasional onsite and offsite promotional events and boat shows, including setup and breakdown as needed. Perform boat cleaning, washing, and detailing as needed. Any additional duties assigned for success. Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way. Required Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old. Comfortable towing and hauling vessels up to 30 ft. Strong attention to detail Reliable attendance and punctuality Dependable Commitment to maintaining safety standards. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets company standards, along with a clear background check and drug screening. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with on-road towing. Proficiency in boat trailering and hauling. Familiarity with operating heavy equipment (e.g., tractors), including personal or limited professional experience. Basic understanding of boats and boating safety practices. Fundamental mechanical skills and ability to use simple hand tools. Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts. Travel Requirements: This position requires occasional travel using a company vehicle, typically within a 50-mile radius, to retrieve and deliver customer boats. Infrequent travel within Georgia and South Carolina may also be necessary for promotional events or off-site meetings. Working Conditions: Primarily performs work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Constantly operates tractor, vehicles, and other motorized equipment. Moves up to 50 pounds and performs tasks requiring physical exertion. Judges distances accurately and operates tractor with precision. Works near water and on docks traversing uneven terrain. The anticipated pay for this position is $12.00, hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
