Prepares pulled orders and places in holding area for truck pick up. 40% Load/Unload Shipments - Warehouse Material and Product Loads and unloads truck shipments received through Distribution. Follows proper procedure to handle deliveries in order to facilitate entry into Harris inventory system. Warehouses received materials and finished product in proper Manufacturing or Distribution areas, recording location on appropriate documentation. 20%Other Departments Support Aids other departments by pulling and replacing inaccessible stock using forklift. 5% Follow Safety Regulations Works safely and supports safety within their team across the organization - as required. Participates in safety training and demonstrates a high regard for safety at all times. Wears PPE as required by safety regulations. 5% Maintain Quality Maintains quality by verifying that pulled product, packaged or not, meets Deliveries requirements and work procedures. 5% Complete Documentation Completes the following forms/reports as required by department procedures: • Deliveries • Returned Goods Authorization • Daily 5S Check Sheet • Daily Forklift Inspection • Packaging/Shipping Supplies Checklist • Packing List on incoming shipments 5% Support Department and Company Initiatives Works on cost saving projects, Six Sigma projects, and provides support for other team members and projects. Attends team meetings. Utilizes lean tools and techniques such as 5S and visual factory concepts in maintaining order and cleanliness. Performs additional tasks to support production as needed or directed by supervisor or management. Education and/or Experience Required - 2 or more years of related work experience and High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred - Experience related to distribution; some computer knowledge; forklift license. Researching customer service issues including, but not limited to shortages, overages and damages and recommending appropriate response. Monitoring warehouse management system for open invoices. Supporting the even flow from receiving to shipping and communicate issues and concerns. Identifying and monitoring high volume and high dollar items during shipping process. Labeling all pallets to be stocked and verify accuracy of inbound freight received by comparing the purchase order with the bill of lading. Recording discrepancies on bill of lading and inform clerk and/or appropriate management of damage and inventory shortages Setting up items and slots to ensure maximum efficiency for shipping and receiving. Recognizing potential inventory hazards including, but not limited to storage of raw or over cooked product.. Operating current warehouse management system. Utilizing necessary technology (e.g., voice, RF gun) to select product. Auditing pick/reserve slots and keep rotation of product accurate, as needed. Verifying absence of rodent/pest activity in all inbound shipments and document any record of activity Performing all other daily/weekly/monthly tasks, not specifically mentioned herein, as described in the inventory control SOP program. Our Order Builders work in a fast-paced warehouse environment making sure our customers stores are fully stocked with Coca-Cola products, refreshing the World, and providing moments of optimism and happiness. Responsibilities Responsible for pulling orders based on pick ticket to accurately build orders for loading onto delivery trucks. Build orders according to assigned load tickets using industrial power equipment. Manually lift and move product to restock and repack ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation. Adhere to good manufacturing practices and safety standards. Responsible for meeting productivity requirements. Stage completed pallets in designated areas. Follow established company Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality procedures and policies. Actively participate in Hazard Mitigation. Complete assigned Health & Safety trainings. Qualifications High School diploma or GED required. Minimum 6 months of general work experience. Experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferred. Prior warehouse experience preferred. Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50lbs. Daily Activities Repetitively lift, carry, and position product (weighing up to 50 lbs.) above shoulder height without assistance. Consistent kneeling, squatting, and reaching above the head. Ability to push and pull manual and powered equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck, etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance. Ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Ability to read information in small, medium, and large print. Ability to stand and walk for long periods. Pay: $18.50 per hour ***plus performance pay*** Schedule is Sunday- Thursday 4am start time Position Responsibilities: Walking up stairs (2 flights) to get to the job site. Standing continuously during entire shift (minus breaks and lunch) No lifting, but the candidate must be able to pull a case of cig's toward them that weigh up to 40 lbs when loading the machine. The candidate must be mechanically inclined as they will be responsible for cleaning their machines and light maintenance. Their machines will be assigned strictly to them.
