Brown Jordan Intl

Since 2005, Gene J. Moriarty has served as the president and CEO of Brown Jordan International, located in St. Augustine, Florida. His responsibilities include managing profits and losses, generating optimal return on investments, and overseeing the performance of 2,100 employees. Most recently, Gene J. Moriarty led the acquisition integration of Tropitone Furniture Co., which, combined with the production of the Brown Jordan Company division, will net almost $400 million in annual revenue. Prior to joining Brown Jordan, Mr. Moriarty led U.S. manufacturing efforts at the Evenflo Company, an international purveyor of baby furniture. He directed a restructuring initiative that resulted in a 293 percent increase in performance, later garnering Supplier of the Year honors from such retailers as Target and Babies R Us. Gene Moriarty received a bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Psychology from Fitchburg State College in Massachusetts. Furthering his education, he completed the executive management program with a concentration in finance at Cornell University.
