1910

1910 - First official football season.

1913

1913 - Corvallis chosen as Willamette Valley Champions by general acclamation.

1922

1922 - Corvallis chosen Willamette Valley Champions after posting a perfect 8-0 regular season record.

1923

1923 - Corvallis chosen as Willamette Valley Champions after its second consecutive undefeated season.

1937

1937 - First year playing at Spartan Field.

1941

The first school dance was held on November 8, 1941.

1941 - Spartan Field gets lights.

1945

1945 - First year of the Big Six League.

1951

1951 - First year of the Valley League.

1955

1955 - CHS wins Valley League title.

1965

1965 - McNary High School of Keizer joins Valley League.

1970

1970 - Spartans claim Valley League title.

1974

1974 - Spartans win league title.

1978

1978 - Spartans go a perfect 9-0 to win league title and steamroll through playoffs defeating Benson 42-7, Dallas 42-13, before edging Medford 13-12 to advance to the State Championship.

1980

1980 - CHS demolishes rival South Salem 46-20 on way to third straight Valley League title.

In 1980 talks were held with the Brothers of the Holy Cross (Notre Dame High School) about establishing a single co-educational secondary school; no agreement was reached.

1981

In 1981, for various internal reasons, the RSHM, which owned the property, transferred operations of the school to the lay administration and parents, under the new name, Our Lady of Corvallis.

1982

1982 - CHS advances to playoffs with a 7-2 regular season record.

1984

1984 - CHS claims league title with regular season record of 9-0.

1986

1986 - Spartans win third straight league crown with an 8-1 record.

1991

1991 - Finish regular season at 5-4.

1999

1999 - CHS returns to Spartan Field after playing home games at Parker Stadium for the last 30 years.

2000

The six Salem schools, with their enrollment around the 2000 mark, are place in the newly created 6A division.

2002

2002 - Chris McGowan is hired as the 28th Spartan Head Football Coach, following a long line of championship CHS coaches.

2003

23, 2003) a native of Lane, Idaho and member of the RSHM for 73 years was the founding principal of Corvallis High School; Mother de Sales Connor; Mother Philip Hickey, Mother Gregory Naddy, and Sister Bernadette Murphy was the housekeeper.

2004

2004 - The Spartans play their home games at Crescent Valley’s Field of Dreams as construction of the new Corvallis High School is started where the old Spartan Field once stood.

2006

2006 – OSAA redesigns districting statewide, splitting the teams up into six divisions (1A-6A). With the Spartans enrollment hovering around 1350, Corvallis is placed in the 5A division in the new Mid-Willamette Conference.

2008

2008 – The Spartans finish 2nd in the league for the third year in a row (6-1). Lose in 2nd round of playoffs (after 1st round bye) at Hermiston, 21-42.

2011

2011 – The Spartans end up in a 3-way tie for 2nd in the league (5-2). New playoff format required a play in game for the playoffs (34-13 over Churchill). Lose in 1st round of playoffs vs.
